He says lots of nice things about United players and fans, a sample

    13. Besides the HDC, where is your favorite place to play in this league? Why? (El Dude)

I like playing at RFK when the bottom bowl is filled. It’s a good atmosphere because, even though I love all the new stadiums and obviously this is the best place to play in the league, there’s a classic feel to RFK. They have good fans. Even though they hate me, they’re good fans. It’s an admirable quality. The seats get bouncing and it’s a good place to play. It gets loud.

    Best player played with:
I’d have to say Etcheverry. I know that being a Galaxy guy now, Cienfuegos, but I think I missed Cien’s best days. So maybe I could say that if I’d been here earlier, but Marco Etcheverry did things I’ve never seen before.

    14. Why do they hate you, Chris? (ME)

I think its because I never, ever scored while playing forward for United. I was a complete bust up top. Plus, my hair is goofy.

    Question 2 is interesting:

    2. Having played for Galaxy for x years, could you ever wear a Chivas, DC or San Ho jersey? (Caasi Gold)

{Laughs} I have worn a D.C. jersey! Not by choice, but a lot of those things are out of my control I guess.

That's not how I remember things happening.

I do not believe the "not by choice" goes with the first part of the answer. Insert a period and a CRLF there and it makes more sense :)

I screamed "Dammit Albright!" so much during his time in DC that there is a kid (now a teenager) who used to sit near my seats who this "Dammit" was Albright's first name.

According to my sister in law, that was the best thing about Albright.

Not from me. He's a solid MLS back who can play wide.

Actually Chris Albright v2.0 is exactly the kind of player we need right now.

Maybe, but after all the grief v1.0 caused, I would have serious Buyer's Remorse and never look at that brand again.
    Besides, Moose has his hair.

Besides, how do you think he'd do in a 3-5-2 anyway?

I would have to agree with this, but I don't think that is gonna happen.

I hear ya on the first point, but he's a different player now than before.

As for position, he would do much better at recovering to play defense after venturing forward than any other defender we've got right now, that's for certain. I'd also think if we did have someone like CA he'd maybe fit in at a wing position as well as just as a pure defender. Also a 4-4-2 isn't out of the question if we had the horses to do it (which we would with CA)

    15. What about DC United means the most to you?

That someone finally bought that lonely jersey of mine that kept showing up at the DC United equipment sales.

Someone should make a sign about goofy hair for the LA game at RFK. Maybe a series of clowns with CA included - but that would take either some serious artistic ability or high-end printing capability. :D

I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

I think he's one of the best fullbacks in the league.

I think the point is that he's talking about plaiying at RFK now, not about himself or his playing days at DC United.
