Chivas should take it! probably a tie in Monterrey or a close 1-0 game, and take it at home......

    bi-campeonato!

News ... for this upcoming game

If Bofo's not ready Morales will take his place and Esparza will take Morales.

If everything goes as expected, namely, Chivas beats Tigres, América beats Átlas, and Pachuca beats Santos....

then it's Superclásico in the semifinals again, and we can improve América's chances in Libertadores by making sure that's the only tournament they're playing in. Para que no digan que nunca los ayudamos :D

It's nice to have the tabla general tiebreaker in our favor this time.

I say Tigres wins the first game 1-0 and then loses 2-1 in the venida and chivas passes. Damn I hate predicting against my own team.

Should be close in Monterey either draw or Chivas win by 1. Chivas will take it in Jalisco.

Between Atlas and America.... Im leaning more towards Atlas. The lesser of 2 evils i guess.

I don't htink it will be that tough. I think it'll be a tie in monterrey 1-1, but it'll be a situation where tigres are lucky to walk away with a tie. Then chivas win 2-0 at home. They don't completely dominate, but they win comfortably.

I also say Atlas beats America and it's a clasico tapatio in the semi's. Then Pachuca in the finals. Then penalty kicks again.

you got it all figured out! i agree with you all the way to the "penalty part" i cant stand them, they are waaay too tense!! but thats the beuty of futbol.

It wouldnt be bad a classico tapatio in the semi's;)

Lets take one game at a time. Tigres is a team the Chivas can beat at their home. If Bofo is out for the game, i think the Chivas will struggle to get good offensive opportunities throughtout the game, unless Morales can pick up the slack. The team should be in good shape with plenty of rest for this match so there shouldnt be any worrys about fatigue. Tigres arent a great team, but theyve got talented players on their side so they could surprise us with how they come out.

It could happen, he's betting against the odds, just like when "EL CLASICO" happened, in ESPN they put america was going to take, when even americas owns fans, wanted atleast a tie, and guess what? it happened! they beat us 1-0... ya never know

America beating chivas is not the same as Santos beating Pachuca. El Clasico was a single game in America's home stadium. It was the 2nd ranked team versus the 3rd.

Santos vs. Pachuca is two-games, 1st place vs. 9th or 10th (i don't remember where santos is. Pachuca is more consistent than Chivas (as much as i love them). You are right, there are upsets... there are also fantasies...

I would like to see a clasico en la final again but one we havn't seen. Like Chivas vs Atlas or better Tigres vs Monterrey. That would rock. America vs Pumas, america vs chivas, and america vs cruz azul has already happened so I wouldn't be too excited for those. But Chivas vs Atlas en la final this season is a real possibility. If Santos upsets Pachuca and Chivas passes the odds remoteley increase.

If i'm not mistaken, the winner of Tigres vs. Chivas plays the winner of Atlas and America... so Chivas vs. Atlas is an impossible final.
