Should be ok, as long as they don't get injured. Araujo, Avila, and now Arellano are in Cancun with Egea. Magallon and Michel are with Hugo.

Atlas plays Wednesday in La Paz. Hopefully they go to overtime, and their flight back gets delayed. On second thought, I hope everything goes smoothly, so they have no excuses.

Now that Pineda and Medina have officially played a few minutes, will they be ready to start?

Going to the stadium! there's nothing like beating atlas and watch them cry, plus they'r locals so the sound will use the Tarataratara (beisball sound atlas always use in theyr games) but when chivas plays.. they always get out chanted hahahahahaha.....

La legion chanting sueñen rojinegros, the beer , una ahogada, watching los ilusos soñadores break in tears, watching los cholillos (most of them like 14 year old) being arrested, having 1 entire week to make fun of los zorros, having one entire month before hearing atlas fans delusional thoughts about chivas, yea nothing like beating atlas.

and i really hope they lose against La Paz, that would prove them small teams shouldn't be on Libertadores.

Ah Clasioco Tapatio week is always a special week in my house. My dad had the unlucky oportunity to play pro for Atlas back in the day and played many clasicos in the youth ranks, and he claims he only lost one, but this doesnt make his love for Chivas any less, he only played for Atlas cuz chico ponze kicked him out of Chivas. I also played for the youth teams of Atlas when i was little and actually played a couple games at their famed and very ugly Paradero field, but like my father this does not stop my hatred for las Margaritas. To me as a Tapatio this clasico is as important to win against Atlas as it is to beat el Amierdica and im confident my chivitas will come through.

I want them to go far in Libertadores, well all Mexican teams. It will prove to S.America that one of our weakest teams can beat their mediocre teams.

I want them to win against La Paz. I like seeing them do well only to lose to the Chivas, again.

An Atlas team that thinks its going to win a championship is always something to laugh about.

Lol, ya if they win against La Paz thats ok. i think they will use their 1st team for that second leg. This extra match in their week should possibly fatigue some. we always win against them every year. Plus Marioni can be shut down like when he was with Toluca.

You guys clearly dont live in Guadalajara, where the zorros are a annoying plague for every chiva, they use almost every goal even against 3th division teams to try to discuss with a chiva.

Thats why i want them to lose, you guys don't have to deal with the "We are in Libertadores we cant be called a small team", "we are going to win the libertadores", "Guardado is in Deportivo and Salcido in a BS team in Holland", "The best Mexican player is Marquez and he came out of Atlas", "Our aficion is the best in Mexico", "If we lose the Libertadores its the FMF fault for hating Atlas" etc etc etc....

Have you ever talk to a scientologist? Atlas fans are like that, but instead of respecting your beliefs like scientologist do, they keep pesting you about how wrong you are.

And its not just me, any Chivas fan living in Guadalajara hate Atlas more than Any other team, including America, well at least 90% of the people ill talked to.

for the most part, this is true

a friend of mine use to go out with a guy from Guadalajara and he is a hardcore Atlas fan. he would talk so much sh!t; it was annoying. i remember we all went out as a group to a club the weekend Chivas beat Atlas 3-1 in the Apertura 2006 season, and i made a mention of the game without being an ass about it, y andaba bien ardido el guey.

well screw that, me and another friend who are both Chivas were giving him sh!t ALL NITE!! it almost looked like he wanted to cry. a few days later, my friend dumps him. HAHA :D

You guys are gonna offend the 2 Atlas fans on BS.

SparkPlugs is right about the fact that us U.S. based Chivas fans don't feel this rivalry as much as we do against America. Reason being that we don't frequent eachother very often.

I think the last time I saw an actual Atlas fan in Cali was in 1999.

Un Club no se mide con copas...
    si no,...la emocion que provokas

Chivas has Flores from Atlas. He is turning Chivas into a rendering youth club that Atlas always was and is.

One thing that increased Atlas to grow on me besides always giving the youth oppurtunity, is that they always play beautiful..and thats something you cant always say about Chivas.

Flores has alot to do with what both teams have produced in thier canteras. He is a mastermind at developing youth.

If you want to break it down club for club go ahead...Atlas takes it hands down because of Flores' previous work.

    Borgetti>Bravo
    Guardado>Esparza+Gaucho...quien queiras
    Pardo>Araujo
    Oswaldo>???
    Marquez>Salcido

    Y recuerda

Youth coaches, Fitness Coaches, Managers, First Assistance, Scouts, physiotherapist always changes teams, its not like you can consider one of them of any team, even if they worked for that team for more than a decade like E. Flores, besides he hasn't been only in Atlas, he was in Leon to, and now he is in Chivas. Plus it wasn't him that made chivas into a youth team, youth players have been playing in chivas for a long time now, and the youth system in Chivas has been getting better and better sense Vergara arrive (one of the few good points of the buy out.)

I do agree thought that he did great in the youths of atlas, and he is doing great right now with the youth of chivas, but it wasn't him that made Chivas a rendering youth club.

True that they give opportunity to youth, and they PLAYED beautiful in 97-98-99, but, i haven't seen even a small shadow of what they were then, it was an Atlas i personally feared back then, now i just find them pathetic and annoying, mostly like i stated before, couse of the fans, and some of they'r chivas-hating players.

And last season they played horrible. even the few zorros that see Reality agree. (they most be masoquist if they see the light and yet they keep with that team)

Cant argue with that. But i can tell you this,
right now Chivas youth > Atlas youth (not by much tough, and im happy that both atlas and chivas have top youths and both are from Jalisco.)

True, Zacatepec has more Titulos than Atlas, but they'r a smaller team, but what brings more emotion to a team than winning a copa? the only emotion atlas couse is when they play Chivas every other team consider them like just another average team. I can bet 85% of the fan of any first, and first a teams prefer to watch a game of they'r team vs Chivas/Cruz Azul/Pumas/America and maybe even Pachuca than vs atlas.

And just to finish this, i dont consider Atlas a small team, i just consider them average, what i hate about them its, something like i said you probably dont have to deal with, and its the ilusos fans hating everything of chivas, even when La Seleccion play they dont stop with the flame against every chivas ex-chiva or chivas-growth player.

I do have Atlas fans as friends, one of those friends is the son of Gustavo Montoya, he was in the same school as me sense we were 7 yrd old, and he is the most hardcore fan of Atlas i haver ever known, i learned in a clasico in a friend palco, after chivas beat Atlas and i was making fun of them :), that to keep the friendship with him we could never discuss anything related to Chivas because like most of the others Atlas fans, he hates the team, the fans, the players, the institution, the club, they hate anything related to chivas, and it can be very annoying to have to deal with that.

Man a chivas fan can talk good about atlas, you just prove it, but i never seen an Guadalajara Zorro talking anything good about chivas, they went as far as to cheer for America in the Jalisco after America eliminated them in la liguilla just to spite chivas.

They even kick me out.... me!!!!! the great Bujias  of the club atlas colomos once for wearing a chivas t-shirt, i didnt care much i just went to get my hair done anyway and i did, im saying this just to prove how much they'r intolerance goes to, the chivas fans dont hate everything atlas has to offer, yet they hate everything we have to offer.

Ok Finish, i wont explain anymore why i bash atlas every time i have a chance, in Guadalajara either you bash Atlas or you have to deal with stupidity.
