So this question is bound to come up at some point, what happens when chivas usa play the real chivas from mexico in the superliga tournament or at some point in the CCC?? What will the fans make of this meeting an who will they root for if the games are here in the U.S??
Share your thoughts.. Do you think people will be cheering for bornstein, jesse marsch, that new swiss guy?? or will they be cheering for the original team rostered with Mexican internationals..

There are many Chivas USA fans that do not support Chivas GDL. They have their own teams from the FMF. For example there are Cruz Azul, Pumas, Toluca, Puebla and Atlante fans that support Chivas USA, that I know of. There are also Chivas USA fans that do not follow FMF at all and are pro MLS. I was brought up a Chivas GDL fan, so when they meet in an official tournament, I will be supporting a great match. I will respect all players by not yelling ********. It will be a win-win situation for me!:D Arriva Las Chivas!!!

    We will know soon enough.

Chivas vs Chivas could happen this summer in SuperLiga.

A better question is what happens if Chivas USA beats Chivas? Will the Mexican league implode?

I heard Chivas(Mexico) wasn't playing in this years Superliga? It would be interesting to see Chivas(USA) first squad to play against them though!

The leagues will do anything they can to avoid it... It's going to be massively embarrassing when Chivas USA kicks the sh!t out of little brother down south.

This would be a great matchup, I would give Chivas USA a good chance at beating Chivas GDL.

Preki's stare is so scary that if an opponent looked at him in the eye, Preki would snap and go on a rampage. He always has his 'little friend' with him or aka his AK-47.

You don't mess with a beast like that...

I haven't heard much about the Mexican sides except that Pachuca will probably be involved to defend their title. If anyone has any links about information about the Mexican teams, please post them.

Seriously? The real Chivas are kicking ass right now and are at top of the league. They will destroy any current MLS team right now quite honestly...

Through 3 games? I mean, that's cool and all but isn't a bit small sample size to make such huge judgements. It's not like Morelia or UNAM were all that strong in the Apertura and both those wins were at home for Chivas. Let's see what unfolds.

4-0 and 6-0 scores aren't very common scores in FMF regardless of whose playing who. UNAM is sub-campeon and Morelia was also fighting for the top spot this past weekend. You're right though, it's still too early to tell but Chivas is playing good ball regardless. They should have beat UAG last week. All I know is that they will wipe out Chivas USA in a home and away format. I'd love to see the opposite though just to see everyones reaction in Mexico lol.

Just like they mopped LA with the galaxy last year? Doubtful it'll be such a one sided game. Chivas USA was a very good team last year and we have retained the same line up with added depth. :D

I don't support Guad, so I wouldn't mind us trashing them to shut up some of the snobs that trash talk MLS.

Hey I did say ANY MLS team in my previous post. That game was probably our worst played game last season. I have my doubts about Esky and Cardozo doing well in Chivas USA but we'll see.
