From what I understood, Vergara really wants a second chance to recreate his American dream. As flawed as it may be, he is now 100% in charge. That's a good thing, IF he spends and follows up on his promises. IF NOT, then it'll be another setback in a series of setbacks for our goats. The word I get from my sources who were there, is that Vergara was very humble, contrite, and apologetic to the supporters for neglecting his project. He does admit failure for the debacle of 2005 and genuinely feels like he has to make things right. He spent big time cash to buy out the team for the Cue Bros. If money talks, he just screamed "It's mine and I'm going to fix it!" Like all else, we just have to wait and see. ELAC, Thanks for the information, I will be listening. Just so you know, I may be a hated Galaxy fan, (I do attend 3 to 4 games a year, just against LAG.) but I do wish the Chivas USA fans well and that your club also does well. Its good for the game in the LA area to have the rivalry and keep the "Super Classico" alive for years to come. .

According to the article the Science Center will depend largely on parking consessions from USC events/soccer stadium. Don't see Chivas USA pulling much in terms of attendance to make up parking fees, unless there is a soft rebrand and serious money pumped into the squad. It's a small step forward but it seems Vergara is out of the spotlight as opposed to the Cue's active profile in a stadium search. Seems like a stadium in proper L.A. is there for the taking.
They need to get raid of the current owner, even if you give him the new stadium he still going to funk it up . They " the league " need to act quickly and don't let this one slip away. I have a better idea: why don't they let Galaxy move in the new place and Chivas could stay at Stub Hub.

What a shit storm. Obsession these people have with Chivas USA is sick. This whole one sided HBO special is bad. Another reason why Chivas USA needs to get away from the Stub HUB and stop bringing in people from the galaxy.

What a POS this guy is, I wouldn't be surprised if AEG is manipulating him to try to get rid of Chivas as a competing team in the area; I'm sure they're feeling an earnings squeeze in the Port-Beckham era.
