We lost out on 4 points vs New York and San Jose so now we need a win in order to keep our Western Conference Championship hopes alive..well a tie wouldnt totally kill the dream but a win will surely help out greatly...what are ya'll thoughts??

1-1. No more comments from me. This is a very stressful time at the Hrothgar compound. Both my teams need points... I sure picked a bad week to stop sniffing glue.

This is a tough one for sure. I say we get out at least a point. Like I said in an earlier thread we rematch Chicago in Seattle for all the marbles.

Hrothgar, then who do you cheer for ?

In a final for the MLS Cup? I'm a Chicago guy born & raised.... but in that situation I would support CUSA. It's less about the teams involved, and more about the brotherhood - standing with the Union Ultras is an honor.

    Here are my 2 pesos!
I think that WE have to come out and try to win this game, no matter watt cus ‘ if PrekY wants a tie that means that it is most likely for us to lose the game. If we keep their defense active then we would be in the right direction, we are playing good and I think we would take the conference once again.

I wonder if this team was a bit shaken by the fact that it couldn't score that third goal against San Jose.
I think Preki will have these guys mentally ready.
NOTE: Chicago needs this game. They will try to win it. We have to get 3 points if we want the Western conf. crown.

I'm beginning to be a Braun Believer! If he plays well again, and someone (ahem... Santos) brings their shooting boots for this game, CUSA can win.

This is a huge test, a result on the road against the Fire is difficult but not impossible.

Lahoud is getting better every weak. In fact, everyone is. Except Jazic. :p

Jazic is not as good as Trujillo, but is more physical. Johnson was all over the field. He was tough to handle.

I'll be praying for a win against Chicago, but a tie seems to be the likely result.

Guys lets not forget that it was the Ref who cheated us that last game, I'm sure Chivas USA hasn't forgotin that game I know damn well I haven't. Chivas USA should go into Chicago and put out there fire nothing would please me more then to see Blanco fall to the ground and cry like the baby he is. Also McBride's diving tells me that he's learned a thing or two from Blanco himself so lets keep the fouls to a minimum let them foul us. Oh and one more thing Sacha should stop taking the free kicks and the corner kicks, he's just not accurate enough Santos should be taking the Free kicks, and let Trujillo take the corners or better yet Mayen. Other then that I see Chivas USA coming out this game without a lost and maybe a win but with Preko's game tactics who knows.

Thanks for the reminder about the last game. McBride is dead to me.

These guys are playing like dog poo right now. But Nags and Marsch will need to keep close eyes on Blanco. That guy will be playing up the "rivalry" as always.

Looks like Chilango fire fans are not optimistic about this game in fact most of them “think” we will WIN or Tie the game. So I would say Chivas brings home 3 points
Come on PreKy lets Do it

I like having Mayen there as a distributor. Hopefully he can take care of business and show Preki why he belongs there.:D

    Cross-posted for you guys.

REFEREE: Terry Vaughn. SAR (bench): Peter Balciunas; JAR (opposite): Joe Fletcher; 4th: Paul Ward
    MLS Career: 121 games; FC/gm: 28.9; Y/gm: 3.9; R: 42; pens: 38

Terry Vaughn is a FIFA referee who hails from Iowa. Chicago fans will remember him as that hilariously awesome guy who whistled for a very questionable penalty kick late in second half stoppage time to give the Fire the full three points in LA. Chivas fans wills remember him as that asshole who whistled for a very questionable penalty kick late in second half stoppage time to give the Fire the full three points in LA. That match, back in May, featured eleven cautions, including two to Jesse Marsch. Why anyone felt it was a good idea to give Vaughn the return fixture is anyone's guess, but I'm going to go ahead and blame Jair Marrufo for getting demoted. This will be Vaughn's 19th match of the season, 3rd involving the Fire, and 5th involving Chivas USA. In 2009 he is averaging 4.67 yellows per match and has shown 8 red cards.

    2009 Terry Vaughn Match Summary:

I predict a lot of handbags and a finish that somehow allows the Fire to get a spot in the playoffs.
