Ching up for Goal of the Week

Looks like an actual race this week.

 

Angel has no business winning, this is clearly Ching or Barrett (Barrett et al really) as far as I am concerned, with Olsen being deserving because it was the game tying goal in extra time.

 

How is the Barrett goal last???? Does TFC no longer stuff the ballet box?

 

I am confused-don't you have to be tied to go into extra time in the first place? did MLS do something screwy again?

 

I think he means stoppage time.

The goal was scored just after the 90:00 mark of the game.

 

I thought that's what he meant-but with MLS and their experiments you never know. thought I missed something.

Yes my mistake, injury/stoppage time. I still can't believe the lack of love for the TFC goal. Ching is leading as he should, lets keep him there.

Too bad Pat can't get something, save of the week or something....... a blocked pk counts the same as a goal in my book, and is harder to score.

Another vote here. That was a kick a$$ goal.

 

Ching won. Yea.

The coolest thing for me is it was one of the few goals I actually had time to watch from the scorer to the goal, I watched in agonizing slow motion as the ball left Ching's head and drifted past the keeper up into the corner, I thought it might have a chance, then, NO!, it hit the crossbar (or the post? that detail escapes me), and I thought it would bounce out.... then, amazingly it went in!

Then it's all about the high fives, the jumping, singing and streamers.
