haha yeh, I had a friend who wanted me to help him sign with Chengdu blades after he heard about all the former european stars being linked with Chinese clubs.
That was a late late late PK. It's hard to tell on the replay I saw on the CSL site if there was actually a lot of contact. Henan players were irate, but that's to be expected.
^^ there's more to that. i was reading that CFA hired couple of referees from Hong Kong and they made bad decisions. and i wondered why CFA would hire crap referees from Hong Kong (the controversial one). so much to update, yet so less time, type more tomorrow!
I was watching the match on tv, there looked to be some contact, but that ball was played in so high, Yao Ming wouldn't even have had a shot at touching it, strange call. I know it was an HK referee who was in charge of the Guoan-Luneng match, not sure who reffed the Aerbin-Henan match. The HK ref in the Guoan match wasn't that bad except for missing an obvious penalty (somethng he made up for by giving a less obvious penalty). The guy had earned "international" status from AFC/FIFA, though of course that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
the aerbin-henan match was officiated by another hk ref. originally there was a group of korean referees allocated for the match, but god knows why they were replaced.
Fight broke out in Qingdao vs Shanghai Shenxin game today. Some Brazilian player unnecessarily swooped the feet of a Qingdao player. Zheng Long was irritated and gave him the average push, which the Brazilian player responded with a punch to the face. Result: Red cards for both the Brazilian and Zheng Long (undeserved)
It's all gone to heck. I firmly blame the CFA for poaching Blažević. It's been downhill ever since...
In the battle of the two remaining undefeated teams Jiangsu came out on top, 1-0 over Liaoning. Great crowd for the game, over 24,000 was the official attendance I believe. Now all we have to do is find a way to win on the road and we'll be unstoppable!
guys my laptop finally gg-ed i have to update thru iphone and i cant watch live streamed games for a week. please expect limited info update from me for a week. meanwhile, if you do have good recommendations, please write here. i game alot, i do graphic design, and love fancy design. (looking at asus zenbook --- except the video card sucks)
interestingly enough, Jiangsu's last home defeat was on April 16, 2011 at the hands of, who else, Liaoning. A 1-0 victory for the visitors on a Yu Hanchao goal, if he was in the lineup tonight I think it would have been a different result.
The Jiangsu game was almost always in their favor. Scoreline should have been higher. I really don't like foreign players after this weeks matches. Looks like i'm going to monitor Qingdao, Jiangsu, and possibly Shandong
