"Big head" Li Weifeng scored for China. Looks like he actually learned a thing or two at Everton.

yes we won, but we still didn't generate enough scoring chances against a jet-lagged mediocre team. I expected more even though it was our B team.

What is the Senior team's next opponent going to be?

This match is counted as an official "A" international right?

Li Weifeng was the captain for both matches. I heard that Haan trusted him because of his EPL experience.

The Olympic team tied Estonia 2-2. They were leading 2-0..... Estonia equalized in the 80th minute. Five of the top Estonian players went home after the match against the senior team.

How much experience can you get by playing ONE EPL match? Good for him though, going from bust to NT captain

Damn our Olympic team sucks, they can't win shi+.
Looks like we will have to wait until 2008 to see our team in the Olympics.

Good win for China. Actually China should win against mediocre European talent every time especially at home. It would be pretty sad for the AFC to lose these types of matches.

Big Head looks solid in the Estonia match. The goal was icing on the cake. Nice to see him bounce back after a disappointing foray into the EPL. If he keeps this form and impresses a few scouts, I wouldn't be surprised if he's back in England some day.

The 2008 would be the 20th anniversary of the last Chinese Olympic team to qualify for an Olympic. :)
