Angels-Rangers in the top of the 9th inning. :(

The soccer game will likely not be seen in it's entirety on ESPN2. :(

Particularly since baseball players are too stupid to make decissions and the managers, who have to do all the thinking, will do all they can to take extra time. It would not be at all unheard of for the last inning to take 30 more minutes.

Might as well turn to Galavision if it's avaliable in your area. Seems like Anaheim won't go away anytime soon.

Wow...even the Chinese have jumped on the trucker hat fad.

Watching Galavision right now...great show of support from both sets of fans...very colorful and passionate!

Much props to Galavision for this and the national anthems of both countries. You'll never see this on ESPN/ESPN2/ABC.

Awesome atmoshere and fans from both countries.

    Thank Buddha for Galavision

Yes indeed, if you've got Galavision, you can see the whole thing. :)

Agree with previous posters who beat me to it......

Galavision, Galavision, oi -- oi -- oi !

Ladies and gentlemen: China vs Ghana.

Full day of football, by the way, for moi.

ManUre vs Arse, then three WWC games. I ain't complainin', even if Spurs lost yesterday.

It'starting now, gotta run.... get the beers and rolled gold in..... and enjoy.

Looks like a lot of fans decked out in their national garb, flags, shirts etc. Quite festive, and in LA's cool ground too.

Galavision, Galavision, oi -- oi -- oi !

With the Chinese 'keeper in black, I'm surprised that Denoncourt is wearing black, too. They made Scurry change her jersey earlier today because it conflicted with the refs.

sure..... rub it in about having TeleFutura and Galavision.... :)

    I'm glad I get the "18" games!

Ghana looks much better than in '99!

It is referee discretion. It all depends on how anal the referee is.

Even though there is no goal, yet, based on the play so far, neither of these teams should have much of a problem with Russia of Austrailia.

THere has already been more skill by BOTH teams than was shown in the earlier match.

GREAT save by the Ghanan keeper. Great skill to set up the shot.

Anybody doing the over-under for the first caution? ;)

    I'm guessing before 30.

Ghana is playing pretty clean, much better than I expected.

    Ghana has confidence.

I'll take 78 on the caution.

Nice ball skills in this game. China is great on the attack. Variety is their spice on the attack.

    Pan Lina out for China.

    From the FIFA bio:
Definitely looks like her left knee went.

China is definitely showing that they can attack, and shoot, from anywhere.

Ghana is holding steady after the goal.

Is China losing passes or is Ghana stepping up?

China's defense is making mistakes in the past. But China plays some great passes but sometimes they don't connect. But it is a very enjoyable game so far.

Ghana's keeper is playing big. She made one mistake.. that China goal.

As a Freedom fan I just now realized how much I missed seeing Bai Jie this season.

Ghana is playing better than I thought they would. From the little we've seen of the two African teams I would have to say Ghana is the better one. Tacticaly stronger and the don't build thier whole game on their God given athletisism. They are not frustrating their play with silly fouls. On the contrary.. they have made some beautiful clean tackles.

Speaking of beautiful plays.... did you all see that little flick the Ghanan pulled at the top of the box? She did that on purpose!

Will China come out on fire and shooting like crazy?

Something interesting to mention... Fatima Leyva speculates that some of the Chinese are wearing the wrong spikes for the pitch. She noticed that Pan's spikes got stuck on the turf. And mentioned seeing 2 others stumble a bit. She says it looks like they might be wearing spikes that are too long.

I'll take her assesment as correct, given that she is a current international player.
