This is from the mouth piece of the Party--People's Daily.

After a long struggle, Green GDP concept took a beating and not officially endorsed in last meeting. But a 2 years experiment in Qinhai has a good news--after the officials takes off GDP as a measure stick for performance evaluation, the ecosystem moves into a positive trend.

So People's Daily starts to call to drop this measure stick for all China and uses Green GDP as measurement. I would also write something to call for a transparent GDP that measures the official corruption and a social-harmony GDP that measures the unrest.

Basically we need to drop those GDP cults who only look on the GDP as sole measurement without considering the costs of ecosystem, the clean and transparent governance, and protect disadvantage groups.
