    Toselli (Univ.Católica)
    Naranjo (Iquique)
    Pinto (O'Higgins)
    Opazo (O'Higgins)
    Currimilla (U.Española)
    Zenteno (Iquique)
    Kuscevic (Univ.Católica)
    Maripán (Univ.Católica)
    Jara (Univ.de Chile)
    Acevedo (O'Higgins)
    Albornoz (Hannover/ALE)
    Beausejour (Univ.de Chile)
    Seymour (U.Española)
    Caroca (Iquique)
    C.Fuentes (Univ.Católica)
    Dávila (Iquique)
    Aránguiz (Bayer Leverkusen/ALE)
    Vidal (Bayern München/ALE)
    Valencia (Palestino)
    Hernández (U.Española)
    Pinares (U.Española)
    Cubillos (Iquique)
    Fuenzalida (Univ.Católica)
    Vargas (Hoffenheim/ALE)
    Paredes (Colo-Colo)
    Castillo (Univ.Católica)

Potential relative of Benjamin Kuscevic. They both share the same origins.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supetar

Club of Junior Fernandes and Angelo Henriquez, Dinamo Zagreb is in severe crisis, 6 points behind Rijeka. Management is disturbed from various reasons. They played against Rijeka 1-1 today in Zagreb. Only 8319 :D fans came.

    http://www.goal.com/hr/match/dinamo-zagreb-vs-rijeka/2245839/report

Fernandes had one header, but player Ristovski prevented this on the goal line.

Henriquez entered in 56th minute. If they want to progress further, they need to find better club. Referee Ante Vucemilovic Simunovic was in the central plan. Rijeka is not happy with his activities.:D

    http://www.prensafutbol.cl/145644-la-china-cup-toma-forma-chile-debutara-frente-a-croacia/

Davor Suker, current president of Croatian Football Federation, hopes that Croatia could promote the football in China. According to him, Croatia enjoys high reputation in China, if we observe the football. He aims mostly on promotion in China, players and coaches.

Arturo Salah was much more convincing in his statements. He wants that Chile shows the strength and the charm of South American football. Chile wants to win the first edition of China Cup and to show why is Chile the actual title holder of two last Copa America editions.

Geir Thorsteinsson wants to promote little country called Iceland in something colossal as China and show the football of Iceland to Chinese large population.

I think that Croatia could end with some mixed squad of several standard players and few exceptions who were mostly unknown.

It also depends about those football clubs who participate in the Champions League and Europa League knock out stages.

Goalkeeper: Danijel Subasic (Monaco), he will probably play. The second goalkeeper is Ivan Vargic (Lazio).

Defenders: We could see for sure players who play in Russia, Ukraine, like Vedran Corluka (Lokomotiv Moscow), Domagoj Vida (Dynamo Kyiv).

Champions League defenders like Tin Jedvaj (Leverkusen) could play. Sime Vrsaljko (Atletico Madrid), hard to say. Atletico doesn't have a lot of defenders and they want to win the European title.

For sure, we could see Josip Pivaric (Robert Jarni wanna be).:D This is Croatian bad side around 15 years, so if Chilean coach wants to win, he needs to have great RB, RM, RF, RAM positions.

Matej Mitrovic (player of NK Rijeka, potential Croatian title holder). Marin Leovac (PAOK) will also play.

Ivan Strinic (Napoli), they try to switch him with Josip Pivaric. Strinic lost the crucial ball and Portugal scored in additional time at EURO 2016. Slower, older, with less talent. For some reason, every Croatian LB player is compared with Robert Jarni, so they feel strong pressure. The history showed weaker talent on that spot.

Central players: better options for Croatia.

Marcelo Brozovic (Inter), Mateo Kovacic (Real Madrid), Luka Modric (Real Madrid), Ivan Rakitic (Barcelona), Ivan Perisic (Inter), Marko Rog (Napoli) will be invited. I expect that Real Madrid and Barcelona could react and save their players, but they will play.

Marko Pjaca (Juventus) is injured. Allegri counts on him after the New Year.

For sure, we will see Ante Coric, new talent. Something like Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ante_Ćorić

Dejan Lovren has some family issues, with his wife. So he mostly makes apologies for not coming.

    Attackers: weaker choice.

Mario Mandzukic (Juventus) doesn't score often like before. His running abilities are not enough anymore. Defenders noticed his activities, so he ends often as closely watched player with less chances. This still works in Juventus, with Higuain, Dybala, Marchisio, but Croatia doesn't have that second attacker, who is on the better level. So Mandzukic runs alone.

Andrej Kramaric, plays in Hoffenheim, undefeated so far in Bundesliga, but he is not some strong attacking potential, ex-player of title holders Leicester City.

Potential surprise is Mario Pasalic (AC Milan). He scored his first goal for Milan last week.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Pašalić

But Matias Fernandez knows him well.:D

Ante Rebic (Eintracht Frankfurt), his coach there is Niko Kovac.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ante_Rebić

He was a strong potential, so far not confirmed in his playing moments. He could play, his strength is in his height, 1.85 m. In technical skills, he is maybe better than Mandzukic.

This is something what might become visible with Chile and Iceland. But it depends about the clubs also.

This Croatian team was used against Northern Ireland in a friendly match.

Better players were invited, but weaker played. Maybe 1-2 additional players we can expect at China Cup.
Carlos Carmona and Eduardo Vargas are playing in clubs who seem complicated. Hoffenheim is fourth team, still undefeated in Bundesliga. Atalanta is sixth in Serie A.

Very positive results against Fiorentina, Inter, Genoa, Sassuolo (Europa League participant), AS Roma. Many people thought that they could do something against Juventus. These facts could bring motivation for these two players.

Chilean coach uses players of stronger Chilean clubs. It's interesting that he avoided the players of O'Higgins (4th position) - Raul Osorio, Marco Medel. These are maybe good players?

Hi, Gilbertsson. Carmona has barely played for Atalanta this season, if at all: ditto for Vargas. Neither one of their clubs *should* have a problem releasing them. That being said, both are sough after by other clubs so a sale may perhaps change JAP's thinking.

I doubt that Inter could forbid anything to Croatia, because they are weaker in Serie A and out of Europa League and those players are important, Perisic and Brozovic.

@Gilbertsson Are you familiar with FIFA windows and stuff that go along national teams matches? If you are, you should know their clubs won't let them take part in this non-official tournament. If you aren't, now you learned something new. :D It's just a money grabber. Šuker would tour NT all the time just to get some money. Cheap bastard.

It will be crappy team like HNS sent to Hong Kong ten or so years back (Chinese New Year Cup) where most of the players called-up played most of their NT matches. http://hns-cff.hr/en/matches/27630/hong-kong-hrvatska-04/ Players from Dinamo, Rijeka, eventually someone from Hajduk, players from leagues which continue in February and that's it. No players from top five leagues or Greece or Turkey or leagues that don't have longer winter break. They possibly can get players that don't play in their clubs, but are there any?
