    Totalmente de acuerdo.

    --

Very good point. I wasn't happy about that either.

FutChile in general is a very good site when it comes to Chilean players abroad but a lot of the articles, if not the most, include a lot of syntax, spelling and drafting errors. And sometimes the articles include context errors, like this one (the writer should have done his homework and put an asterisk next to the player's remarks to indicate what you mentioned above: it would only have required a little research via Wikipedia, for example).

Btw, @Zandi360 : can you tell us what type of formation Queiroz is looking to use for today's game?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Alireza Jahanbakhs and Sardar Azmoun are out from the initial list, they joined our U23. Ehsan Hajsafi is injured an left Austria, so we are going to be considerably weaker. Even though Chile won't use their best team, I don't expect anything from the gane I think :p

There are rumors that this is going to be a lineup according to an Iranian news website:

Yeah, Dejagah on the bench apparently :p Average age is freaken 30, Looks like Queiroz wants to use experience to try to draw the game to make a good last impression before leaving, but I don't think it's going to happen

This should be a test for teams like Bolivia, Venezuela and even Ecuador/Paraguay where the opposing team will defend and our defensive line will be high up. It will be a good test for this kind of tactic.

    Venezuela and Paraguay ?

If we are to worry over next Copa America, shouldn't we focus ourselves only on those we are to confront at group phase first, and leave other potential opponents when we do pass to the next phase ?

If we don't make it there, facing those other teams will not happen till the WC qualifiers.

Here is an idea, why not both? so yes, Venezuela and Paraguay, and also Brazil to prepare against the levels of Argentina, whether we get them or not.

Like that formation with 1 striker up front, its what we need to practice for. Anyways, for Chile, the formation is.

I want to see Roco and Pulgar, big test for them. Millar is well known and is pretty reliable. Fuenzalida is ok for the bench, at most. Orellana is playing well in Spain and Gonzalez well in Chile. We all want to see the Matias Fernandez of Fiorentina. I am also looking forward to see Pizarro if he comes on. However, Jara, I have no idea what he is doing anywhere near the national team.

Good luck Iran! Good game, no injuries.

@Zandi360 , you think Iran will wait for the counter? thats what most reporters here think. What do you think? And how tall and fast is your lone striker....long name jajaja

Did you watch Iran v Argentina in the World Cup? It will very likely be a copy of that game. We play like that regardless of the opponent, whether it's vs Qatar, Chile or Argentina :p

Ghoochannejhad is not tall, 179, but fairly fast and agile :)

Nice to see, we are trying to bring height to our team which is something that has been lacking, that is why Roco and Pulgar are playing, hope they keep doing well.

For chileans, with that height he can almost be considered as a "walking skyscraper"........

For that poster, they should have used a lots smaller stadium as background, as the NV Arena, holds at most 8.000 spectators at full capacity ........

Unfortunately, height isn't one of our strong points
    :cautious::unsure:

Nevertheless, we still jump very high (considering our "mini" size):p

Millar should not be around, specially when we have Valdes, who himself should be bench to Aranguiz! Pulgar lone midfield not doing anything. Jara, no comment.
