Ecuador will go with the starting 11. Copa America is a tournament where Ecuador still has a lot to prove due to past results, especially by the way the team is viewed today as opposed to 6 or 7 years ago. I am not saying they are viewed as a "top" team, but as a team that can surprise any "top" team with good quality players rather than just luck. This does not mean that the popular "stars" will go, but with whoever is playing in-form football from here on in their respective leagues as well as friendlies.

Kaviedes is no longer with Bacelona...he's with El Nacional, and other than the 4 goals he made on the first day...he hasn't been "rompiendo" anything!

You guys have a lot more options uptop. We lack better productivity from Sebastian (Chamagol) Gonzalez, Reinaldo Navia, Patricio Galaz, Mauricio Pinilla, Hector Mancilla.

Our domestic league's "offensive stars" Leonardo Monje and Carlos Villanueva(love the way he plays) have to prove themselves internationally before playing for our national team.

As of now, our two best options are Humberto "Chupete" Suazo and Lazio's Luis Jimenez(he is a natural midfielder but he can play as a right winger, attacking midfielder, or "mediapunta")

And how is your defense line looking. More than anything I believe this is key in South American teams being that most countries have great forwards. I am not well informed on your local league, but who seems to be doing well in those positions?

And btw, which are your following amistosos?

We have plenty of quality center-backs, these 4 will surely get nominated:
    J.Vargas(Red Bull Salzburg,AUSTRIA)
    W.Ponce(Universidad de Chile)
    P.Contreras(Celta de Vigo,ESPANA)
    I.Fuentes(Jaguares,MEXICO);
    (R.Rojas)(America,MEXICO)-Another option.

We also have a lot of left backs who could play in the back in a(4-4-2)
    R.Tello(Sporting Lisbon,PORTUGAL)
    H.Droguett(Tecos,MEXICO)
    R.Olarra(Maccabi-Tel Aviv,ISRAEL)
(A.Vidal)(Colo Colo)-One of our U-20 stars, he starts for his club but he will go to the U-20 WC instead of the Copa America
(M.Gonzalez)(Liverpool,ENGLAND)-He is a midfielder and will start in the left in a 3-5-2 or a 4-4-2). He would only play there in case of an emergency.

However, our biggest problem is in the right, we have a lot of doubts as to who would play as a right back in a 4-4-2. Some options are these:
A.Ormenho(Gimnasia,ARGENTINA)-Is more of a right winger than a back.
N.Pinto(Tecos,MEXICO)-Great dribbling skills, quick-paced, close-marking. He has played in the position before but he is offensive-minded and that may hurt us if he leaves holes in the back.
C.Alvarez(U.Catolica)-Was a great player before, played as a right back/winger and was the top scorer for his team. Had a horrible last season with River Plate as he played very few games, he is just returning now and is slowly getting more and more playing time.
LP Figueroa(Arsenal,ARGENTINA)-He has played as a winger all his life yet he has had very few games as a right back. His defensive aspects aren't great but he has a lot of skill and can create a lot of damage uptop.
R.Rojas(America,MEXICO)-He is an experienced, fierce center back who starts for America and can head the ball pretty well. He played as a "right back" during the previous qualifers and contributed a lot defensively but left a lot to be desired in the attack.
B.Rieloff(Audax Italiano)-He can defend well but lacks strength and agility. He is also very limited with his feet and does not give accurate passes.
