Lamar threw the "Wizards season ticket" clause in over the offseason.

But seriously it is a nice try by Lamar to get a sports figure on the bandwagon. It not going to be any great help making inroads into the mainsteam sports fans mind though. The Wizards are for the kids of KC and the adults and that shows by the marketing scheme. Yes I know why they do it. So please no one start preaching to me why they cater to that demographic.

Well done by Coach Vermiel, even it was "strongly encouraged" by his boss. Over here, near Philly, Dick is still revered as a man and as a coach. It's good to see him making the same kind of little things happen for disadvantaged youth - and even better, now he's helping out soccer.
