I just visited Chicagosports.com ( Chicago Tribune). They had a fairly long survey (as a pop up) about their service - which included some fill in the blank sections. If you want increased soccer coverage in the Tribune, filling out a survey might help. If the comments are over the top, they might throw out your data, but they appear interested in seeing what people want to read about. I don't know if it is a random survey or not, but anything can help. I mentioned both the Fire and international soccer in my responses.
