They've got a "new year's resolution" poll up on the site, with the final choice being "Root for Chicago's winningest team -- the Fire" currently in dead last place. Come on people! Later, COZ

i was gonna vote for the fire but then i got to the part about vilifying all the other teams management...
Vote early, vote often For those of you as bored as I am, here's how to vote multiple times, if you're using IE on Windows (I'm on 98SE, but I think it'll be the same for 2000, ME or XP): 1) Vote. 2) Close your broswer (this is important). 3) Go to Start>Find>Files or Folders. 4) Click "Browse" and go to C:\Windows\Cookies 5) Click the "Date" tab 6) Select "Find all files" "created" "during the last 1 day" 7) Highlight any files with chicagotribune.com in them. 8) Hit "delete" 9) Repeat. If you leave the Find dialog box open, that'll make it easier. Netscape puts all the cookies in one file, which is somewhere under Program Files\Netscape, and I think is called cookies.txt, where you would probably just open it in a text editor and delete one line toward the end that has chicagotribune.com in it. Dunno about Opera. Does anyone actually use Opera? Dunno about Mac, either. They might be able to filter on IP address after the fact, but that's a whole lot of work I'm sure noone wants to do. And hey, at least we're on the list, right? Later, COZ <-- extending the Chicago voting tradition

He can't. He doesn't talk in the "dems, does and dezes" that a precinct captain is legally obligated to talk like.
I don't live in Chicago (or Illinois for that matter) and I don't really know anything about Chicago's other sports teams (except for the Bulls) but I voted anyway.
Voted. 2 more votes and we're out of last place. It's one of the most even polls I've ever seen. Everyone has between 14 and 17 percent of the vote.
