There are no temporary field-level seats for football or soccer at SF. Row #1 for football is the same as row #1 for soccer. I would be inclined to say that not all of the levels of suites will be used for soccer games at SF.
In terms of crowd numbers this will be the biggest event I've been to, even bigger than those Reds X Dodgers games from back in the 80's. I'm stoked!!
Is it still possible to sit in the supporter's section for this game? How much are tickets running? I saw $35 in the 400 level, is there anything better than that?
And might I add we need to be extra specially loud and rowdy (I'm talking Argentina at Giants Stadium once it started to rain) from the second we enter the parking lot. I know everyone is disgusted but the team needs us more than ever now.
sorry in advance if this question doesn't make much sense, but won't the division of the supporters' section between the 100 and 300 level seats harm coordination? is there a reason why they didn't open the 200 level seats for supporters' tickets?
If I remember looking at the seating chart right, there is no 200 level in the end zones, so they're not actually separated by a whole other section -- but someone correct me if I'm wrong (as I was on the seating capacity issue, heh). ETA: Wrong again. http://www.ticketsolutions.com/venuemaps/SoldierField03_all.gif
To be fair when you look at a picture of the endline stands it doesn't appear that there is a 200 level, only the seating chart reveals it. I thought the same as you until I saw the seating chart.
Ok, now I'm pissed. I just went to the Chicago Soccer Store and they are selling the "Honduras package" which is a jersey a flag and something else for $30. This is advertised on the door under the "Yanks Are Coming" ad.
Pair of Tickets I bought 7 tickets and had a pair of guys cancel on me. They are in Sec 336 and I'll be at a restaurant called Grace O'Malleys at 5pm tomorrow night if anyone is interested. $50 apiece
I saw a car on the drive over and the plates read CREWGRL. Also at one of the rest stops some Hondus were rolling deep. it's going to be electrifying!!!
Well,if the American fan's were as passionate as the Honduran's i'm sure that the Chicago Soccer Store would offer an "American package". To many American soccer fan's are busy buying EPL and England national team jersey's instead of our national team's jersey.
MASSIVE317 (Indy's Crew fan connection) will also be bringing some people up. Plus, I know there were some people already up last night, too. Crew fans or not, though, we'll all be wearing red. Here's to three points and the Nats regaining some respectability.
