Unfortunately Russia convinced Iran to let them lease out the building of the drones in Russian factories so while it will limit some, I believe the majority are already being built on Russian soil.
“Russia’s war in Ukraine is constraining Russia’s ability to provide military support to Iran, also highlighting how Russia has become less reliant on Iran for its war effort in Ukraine over time as Russia has indigenized the production of much of what it previously imported from Iran and has subsequently become much more reliant on North Korea.” https://understandingwar.org/resear...fensive-campaign-assessment-february-28-2026/
It was Hormuz. It seems to be way too wide for that to happen, but it was Hormuz. Remember, the shipping channel is considerably narrower than the distance from shore to shore, only 2 miles wide in each direction. https://iea.blob.core.windows.net/a...b858b59c0f1c/StraitofHormuz2026-Factsheet.pdf I had a Poli Sci professor who back in the day was one of 3 out of 50 US/European Middle East correspondents who was fluent in Arabic. Almost all of the news in the 60s & 70s was information ministry translations passed on as "reporting".
That's why it was news last week when Ukrainian "Flamingo" cruise missiles struck a missile factory almost a thousand miles inside Russia. Between their forces becoming more capable and Musk turning off Russia's Starlink access Ukraine has retaken ground the past month. https://aviationnews.eu/news/2026/0...ry-with-new-domestic-flamingo-cruise-missile/ The missiles look suspiciously like a Nazi V-
That was his claim anyways. I presume he spoke Hebrew also. I took classes freshman year I had no business taking, but NIU let me.. First semester I happened to have P. Allan Dionisopolous for Poli Sci 100 & liked the class so much the next semester I took his 400 level Constitutional Interpretation class & got a B. Other freshman Poli Sci classes were the aforementioned Middle East Politics (270) and Daley Machine (240) taught by a former ward committeeman.
This year (and it is only March 1): Trump invaded Minnesota, including the unprovoked shooting and killing of two American citizens and the Unconstitutional detention of countless non-citizens. How many deaths have occurred? Frankly, we do not know yet. Trump took over Venezuela and kidnapped, er, arrested its leader. Trump holds his Peace Conference. Trump has a full scale, unprovoked attack on Iran, killing its leader. ...and so much other crap. Too bad so many people did not vote for Kamala Harris since she did not have Palestinian speakers at the Convention and "had a funny laugh." Well, I hope every one of those people is happy today with the current actions taken, in conjunction with Israel, against another Muslim country.
Everything is Normal. Well I hope those commanders lead the way on foot right into the middle of this battle. May they be saved by the light of Jesus Christ himself as those bullets and bombs will just bounce off. Go forth, commanders!
I'm 100% sure Trump going against his Pentagon and Chief of Staffs in favor of fighting a proxy war for Netanyahooo and Israel has absolutely NOTHING to do with blackmail or any possible secret video tapes by that guy who unalived himself...allegedly.
Sure, but Pete Hegseth, Secretary of the Department of Defense, er Department of WAR is all in on this adventure. I do not think blackmail or "secret video tapes" are even needed. Rubio mentioned the other day that they were told "Israel was going to do this anyway," so they joined in accordingly.

Is there a point where people in this country stop seeing each other as adversaries? Are we too isolated to respect each other's humanity, before it's gone forever?
I am not so cynical to think we are too broken to ever come together. I am too cynical to think that it will not take something dramatic to bring people together. Unfortunately, we had that chance with the COVID-19 Pandemic and, well, how did that turn out for our national discourse? I am depressed now (well, always, but especially now)
The ‘house divided’ has unfortunately been stoked by both foreign and domestic governments Humans are closer to lizards than gods…that plus herd behavior…fairly easy to get an ‘us and them’ fear reaction…especially when there is minimal discourse about what we agree on. That plus we don’t live all that long and don’t pass on wisdom very well…so current populations repeat history failures. ok, now I’m depressed too
