This is how I feel.

The idea that this is wall to wall news coverage is ridiculous.

No mention of the mass shooting at a Colorado school on the same day.

What we have to deal with going forward, is that tens of millions straight/Euro/Christians, who seriously believe they are victimized by an American society that is not exclusively constructed around their getting ahead of EVERYONE else are more hardened in their positions. Like things weren't bad enough already. This is a really sh#tty thing, long term, for those of us trying to beat this mentality back.

 

How is that any different than it was before? I get the concern and appreciate that it is coming from a real place, but Charlie Kirk literally made a living radicalizing those same people, and half of their existence is looking for reasons to be victimized. Yes, this throws fuel on the fire, but I don’t know that anything is going to extinguish it and don’t see this making the fire rage any harder than it already is. Especially as details come out that he may have been associated with the Groyper movement, which is also far right.

 

I'm reading he might have been a Nick Fuentes disciple, a goypers, whatever that is. Essentially he may have thought Kirk was too liberal.

This implies that the alleged shooter was a liberal and not an even more far right wing whack job than Kirk.

They really wanted this to be antifa and will tiptoe around the shooter’s beliefs until they are exposed.
