There was a good article in the daily herald stating the chicago kick reached a deal to play at the sears centre in hoffman estates starting november this year. They will pay $7,500 a game. All seats will be general admission and parking will be FREE eliminating the need for alot of ushers and parking lot people.Unfortunately the daily herald charges for online viewing.I will post it anyway.

Great find! And I can live w/ free parking and general admission too.

There is still nothing on the Kick website - it is still down.

I guess the departure of the Express had something to do with it as well. Hopefully, this will be the last and permanent venue for indoor soccer in Chicago and hopefully it does well there.

Hey some good news for the MISL after losing (well, not losing) Harrisburg and Dallas. I still hate the logo and the name, and all seats general admission doesn't bode well for their projected attendance guess. But..........................

    No season tickets?

What if they potentially made it to the playoffs/championships? Would they still do general admission?

Hopefully, without the Express they will get some good game times. And it's a good sign in the article that they are approved for 13 games meaning they will not be on a short schedule next year..

Obviously unless they discount season tickets a lot and you plan on going to every game there isn't much advantage to getting season tickets.

I know this is indoor soccer, but still, I imagine there will be season tickets. Really doesn't say what seats will cost. If its $20 a ticket, and you offer a discount on the 13 homes games, and you can choose said good seat, then yes, season tickets are well worth it.

How can you reserve a seat if it's general admission? Do you want to shoo people out of your seats every game?

Think about what you just said. This is Chicago, how many people do you expect to show up for a game? Maybe if they get decent attendance, they'll redo this for a 2nd? season.

For them to have any success at season tickets they would have to offer a big dicount over the regular price since seats will be GA.Sears centre is actually very close to me but it is way out from the center of the metro area. No team that has been there has had any success drawing people

All I was saying is you can't sell reserved season tickets if all seats are general admission.

Yes, but you could sell non-reserved season tickets. Obviously, there would have to be a discount on buying the whole season in advance. They could also offer other season ticket bonuses (meet the players, special giveaways, etc.)

You could section off one part of midfield and make THOSE for season ticket holders only. Make season tickets a different color or something. Sit wherever you want in this middle section, but only if you have season tickets. The rest of you commoners, go sit somewhere else.

Actually, the seats I liked best in that place were in the club, at the window, on a stool.

Well, if you buy season tickets for a section or seats, you own the seats for the season, so um, general admission doesn't apply to your seats. It is not rocket science...but again, oh my, the MISL, not the PASL, must be SATAN's work.

They could be GA within the section, among those people with season tickets. An assigned section without assigned seats. Unless they're going to add value in other ways, they're taking a situation in which there's little incentive to buy season tickets and making it a no-incentive situation.

Doubt it's going to be an issue. Nothing does well in that arena from a team sports perspective.

Not charging for parking is a nice start. $10 for the Express parking was outrageous. I would just expect the concession prices to go up more. The Sears Centre loves to charge United Center prices for it's Aldi type concessions.

I guess it's not rocket science when you're an idiot. You own the seats, huh? Do you get to take them home with you after the game, too?

How are you going to mark the season ticket seats so no one sits in them since general admission means you can sit wherever you want? That was my entire point, but somehow your puny little mind missed that and also somehow made this into a MISL/PASL thing when it has nothing to do with either.
