The Chicago Fire announced today that the team's 2008 preseason will once again begin at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. from Feb. 6-20. Fire players will report to TOYOTA PARK for team physicals on Monday, Feb. 4, before departing for Florida on Wednesday, Feb. 6. and they are playing Friendly games in Bradenton: Feb. 9 vs. U.S. U-17 National Team (9:00 a.m. CT) • Feb. 13 vs. Columbus Crew (9:00 a.m. CT) • Feb. 16 vs. Kansas City Wizards (9:00 a.m. CT) • Feb. 20 vs. Toronto FC (9:00 a.m. CT) So if you live in Tampa Bay area it's a rare occasion to see MLS games: We need all soccer fans to join the fun
Currently training in Bradenton, the Black-and-Red are scheduled for a host of open scrimmages at IMG Academy. United will face the US U-17 National Team (2/1), the US U-23 National Team (2/2), Toronto FC (2/5) Danish club Odense (2/8) and Kansas City (2/12).
does anyone know the schedule for other games, i wanna try and get to one but these times aren't the best
You might call the Bradenton Academy for a schedule 941-752-2677... but the time schedule for these games was horrid, everyone works during the day and the Sat. games were to early. maybe they don't have lights on that field or something
