It is time to nominate and vote for BS posters to replace Bob Bradley as head coach. I'll start ... Matt Clark. Joe Pakovits was close second but rejected due to Buddhist beliefs that render his pre-game prayers ineffective.
I post on BS ... I could use a better paying job ... I have some coaching experience ... I nominate me.
I have no experience coaching but I really really like soccer. I shall magnanimously take the job if offered....
Carlos Valderrama says he wants to coach after he retires. Is he retiriing yet?. If he does, do you see him as the new Chicago Head Coach?
In my country we have Hugo Sanchez as the head coach for Los Pumas. So far he is doing a great job. I think Carlos is very knowledgable and could contribute a lot to the young players.
Damn, I was hoping for Segroves. The Fire did approach me for the job but I could not take it because the Christian Inquisition at NCC threatened to start a Crusade if I was appointed. [edit] Besides, Buddhists don't 'pray' because they have no personal anthropomorphized old-guy-with-a-big-grey-beard to pray to.[/edit] [more edit]Speaking of religion and sports, why is it that winning Christian athletes always credit Jesus when they win but never blame him when they lose? You never hear a losing athlete say "We'd have won the game if it wasn't for that damn Jesus!".[/more edit
You have to love the irony of this thread (i.e. Bigsoccer abreviation). "Chicago Fire name BS poster as head coach." Does that mean that someone who posts on Bigsoccer should be coach, or does it mean that someone who posts bulls*!t gets the nod? Ah, now that Seagroves nomination makes more sense. (Just kidding Mike, love your work). All in good fun.
Without a doubt the next coach of the FIRE has to be Hristo Stoitchov. He has said thousands of times that he wants to coach in the U.S(MLS)
Trappatoni -- he'll be out of a job in a few weeks. Oh, but he doesn't post here. Damn. Then I nominate El Jefe. I'd love to see Dustin run them EVEN FURTHER into the ground. It'd be just like Clarence Thomas at the EEOC... or Christie Whitman at the EPA... or Colin Powell's kid at the FCC. You catcha the drift, yes?
Republicans are evil? NOTE: I'm just trying to guess at his drift. I have no doubt that several Republicans are not, in fact, evil.
Re: Re: Chicago Fire name BS poster as head coach Isn't it more likely they'd blame the loss on Satan's evil?
Could it possibly be Billy Walsh? He has coaching experience (Manhattan College Head Coach) and his kid brother Pat is the antichirst to most posters on the Metro board
