The only thing you need to remember is to set your clocks one hour back if you have not yet. Xherdan Shaqiri sits as a guest in the studio, in good spirits after his gala performance on Saturday during 's 6:1 victory over Winterthur. He netted two goals and provided assists for three others. On the pitch, he still possesses the same "mischievousness," he states. "I’m a risky player. You’re born that way." In Ticino, Joe Mansueto holds court appropriately at the art and culture center in Lugano.... Match in question. Match in question. Shaqiri with 2 goals multiple assists "Sure, he scored two goals and had three assists, but did he run enough?!?" -certain Chicago Fire fans. The look on his face is totally different than at any time he was in Chicago after the first half of 2022. He looks enthusiastic and happy playing. It is clear that the "fit" was totally wrong here. We may not know the reasons why, but it is clear he didn't like being in Chicago or MLS and the Fire did not have the right mix of players to play with him.
Well...honestly it was enough of a "funhouse" that I decided I needed to dump four 50 lb bags of floor leveler on it first because the corner of the room was almost a full inch lower than the center which made me dizzy, so that really needs to sit for a day and harden. Yesterday I finished all the pesky drywall repairs, mud, sanding, primer, painting etc. So laying the actual floor is on hold. By tomorrow the leveler will be dry and I can put down the underlayment membrane (after work) and maybe start nailing the flooring down. So...kind of had a couple of wrinkles to deal with on my path to victory. Also...this appeared in the Tik Tok which I would imagine many of you might enjoy. What’s the best underlayment for a concrete basement floor? Just trying to picture my basement with a floor. EDIT: I was looking at this stuff: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DRICORE...oor-Specialty-Panel-10-Pack-FG10038/316351887
Or maybe the coaches. Or maybe the formation/system. Or maybe a combination of reasons. It probably does not matter now and I hope he can continue to enjoy playing.
Yes for a basement floor you definitely need something moisture proof and being in the Chicago area choose flooring that won't be affected should the city decide you suddenly need an extra 2000 gallons of water coming up out of your floor drain like LVP or something synthetic. They make some stuff that's basically glorified bubble wrap as well (one's a product called blue foam) and it depends what you want to spend or what type of insulation or padding you prefer. All the big box stores sell it. DRICORE is an awesome choice. I personally chose a product more like Quietwalk which has vaporbarrier on one side and fuzzy recycled material on the other because this old Kentucky home was built in the 1800s and there's nothing but a crawl space underneath it so in the winter months the floor transfers that cold and I wanted the insulation to go between the plywood subfloor (replaced 15 years ago) and the oak flooring going down. There WAS a carpet on the floor that probably wasn't awful 10 years ago but it was done and dated. It's just that the floor joists are original and let's say "settling has occurred" since this lot was originally part of the original Transylvania Colony deal and the first structure on this spot is a part of the front half of this house...which I've been under many times. I do NOT RECOMMEND! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transylvania_Colony
