I'll be at both games... i got my Chi-EFC ticket today Seat location: section 117, row 3, seat 11 I'm a little scared that I'll be mixed with a ton of CHI fans, but it was in the cheapest section (they didn't have that price at the other end of field ) no matter! it's going to be fun!!! if only my camera's zoom hadn't broken off... i might carry a toothpick around just in case i can get a close up of any of the lads haven't bought Denver game ticket yet. Must get on that soon!
I'll be at the Chicago match, but not Denver. I've got Barcelona v Chivas (Guadalajara) tickets on the 3rd.
Oh yeah, and one more thing. The Chicago Fire fans have made a scarf for this match. Here's what it looks like: The scarf can be ordered at the Section 8 Chicago Store (click link below). They are $20.00 each. Order one now and have it mailed to you or pick up at Toyota Park on the day. https://128bit.clickandpledge.com/default.aspx?ID=14437&cid=US&a=
I am going to the Denver game and was wondering if any of the Everton fans had made any pre-game plans. I am from Seattle so I dont know much about the Denver but would be interested in meeting some fellow supports.
PM me your phone number and I'll keep you in the loop. I'm not sure what's going on right now, but I will definitely know before the match.
I might go to either of them. I am 20 so I really can not do much travelling wise so I might go to the Chicago game as Sara said transportation is great.
So are people going to The Globe first to get pissed before going on the bus before the game? I kind of figured that was most people's plan but not exactly sure. Also, my boy emailed the Globe and they said Moyes stated "some representatives from the club will be there (Globe) that evening." Anyone else heard this?
Definitely come to The Globe beforehand - there's a party Tuesday night and loads of people will meet up there to take the bus to the game on Wednesday. Chifirefan and I are working with the Globe and Everton to get everything squared away. Nothing's written in stone yet though.
still not sure if I'll be there. I'm thinking I will, I just have to get around to emailing the globe to reserve my spot. i know, i haven't seen you in a while!
Ok.... going to try and budget a trip with the family to Denver for the game. It won't be easy.. (thanks high gas prices!) but we can probably do it. Google maps says it is only 1,157 miles from my driveway to Denver. Will be taking the major highways to save on gas.. keeping it at 65 or so. Yeah go on around people.. saving gas here..ha. So hopefully there will be four more Everton fans at the friendly.... myself, my wife and our ten year old boy and four year old girl. Maybe I can win the lottery before then... bford
If any of the Denver people want to meet up before the game, PM me and I'll get you my number so we can coordinate.
I fly in late Tuesday night so won't be able to make the supporters night. I'm definitely at the Globe Wednesday though. Do you know when those bus tickets go on sale? Please keep us updated on the board when you know all the exact details. And thanks for helping set everything up!
You should call them and reserve a spot on the bus. There's still plenty of room, but it's best if they have an idea of how many people are coming so they can reserve enough buses. Their number is (773) 871-3757. Things should start to come together soon. Can't wait to meet you and your family!
Ok... am in for the Denver leg of the trip with the family. Anyone know what the good areas to stay in Denver are? Anyone know the hotel Everton is staying in? Looks like we are going to get into Denver on Friday around 5pm and leave either Monday or Tuesday. Also, is there a special ticket area for Everton fans or group tickets? Sorry for all of the questions, but I'm pretty stoked. It will only be my fourth Everton live match. Two in Houston, one in Dallas and now in Denver. rock bryan
There's hotel information here: http://www.efcscna.com/ We should know which hotel Everton are staying at closer to game day. I'm not sure about the tickets - I'll ask and let you know.
i can't believe this is so close! I'm so excited... between work, planning my move to my new apartment and a friend's visit next weekend, I keep forgetting how close it is!!! every time i remember it's like another surprise
