Nearly 6 cards a game! AND 37 fouls!

How about a table featuring teams that have played each other in the Open Cup?

  3. So - with DC partaking in all 3 top spots, does that mean that they are the most fouled? Or do the most fouling?

I guess whatever the answer is, the Fire would come in second, holding court in 3 of the top 5 spots.

While mostly a meaningless stat, I find this strangely fascinating.

It doesn't mean either. They're only tracking total fouls in games between teams, but as it turns out, this year, Chicago is among the most fouled teams, and DC, Metros, and Dallas are among the most fouling teams.

Historically, on a per game basis, we're one of the most fouling teams in the league, but that was under Bradley, with players like Dema and Hristo on the team, so I don't think it should be held against us.

See the original discussion thread in MLS News & Analysis for more detail, particularly in regard to Dallas.
