    I found it to be an interesting read.

    Hooper does make a good point IMNSHO. Why pay someone like Sara Whalen more than a player like Hooper?

    I guess if I was to start a new, competing league..I'd allow all the teams to negotiate with the players and let the market dictate (within reason) of what they should get paid.

    I totally agree with what you said too.

    Boy, the Hooper-Haters will have fun disecting this, that's for sure. :rolleyes:

    Like it or not, she has/had a valid point.

    I agree with her. In the next couple of years, as WUSA settled into a not-too-lucrative niche, will the founding players still have a huge salary advantage? How do we attract the top international stars?
