Didn't see a thread started on this one. Last game in Germany for Steve before he joins the rest of the US squad in Cary, NC.

1:1 towards the end of the first half, 'Dolo in the lineup, no mentions of him so far in the Kicker ticker/matchtracker.

1:2, Berbatov puts the aspirin boys up on 39'.

Looks like it came from an attack on the left side of the Hannover defense, with Jensen serving up the Bulgarian.

It's tied up now in the 80th min with Yankov scoring a goal in the 53.

As to Energie, they play tomorrow.

As a side note, it seems Koller has regained his scoring touch with 2 goals today against Bayern.

FT 2:2. Yankov scored in the 52nd. Cherundolo had a shot in the 83rd to put Hannover ahead, but it went wide. He also sent a long cross into the box in the 80th that Delura failed to get on frame.

That said, Hannover finishes 12th in the table, one place behind Casey's Mainz and two behind Keller's Gladbach.

96 managed to draw 17 games this season, thst's gotta be a new record. Only Duisburg won less games.

38 points on the season are pretty disappointing and if 96 doesn't find a creative and dynamig player for the midfield the upcoming season won''t look any better.

Just watched the highlights. Unfortunately, Steve was massively outjumped by Rolfes on his goal. Beat plain and simple.

He's only 5'6''. I'm sure it is not too uncommon to get out jumped.

But Todd probably saw 6'7" Jan Koller score two headed goals for Dortmund today in the same highlight show

Steven became team captain, again, when Lala was subbed, again, in the second half. They all played an average match today. Except for Yankov who was the best player on the field.

Later Steven was great as a singer when the team appeared on a stage that was set up in the stadium because it was the last match of the season. He sang a fan tune where the Hannover championships and cup wins are celebrated.

    202 is ~ 6'8".

He may be just coming back from injury but it's not like he has shrunk while rehabbing his knee. You may lose touch and endurance from injury ... you don't lose height.
