    Chelski v United

Biggest game of the season, so far. Picking up points will be huge, espically since its at Stamford Bridge.

We should have all our big guns, the question being will Diego start?

Havn't found much TV info, anybody know if its the PPV game?

I think the key thing in the match will be if we can shut down Duff. Thankfully, RVN, Keano, Neville Bros and Giggs were rested, and Forlan given even more of a confidence boost in Greece. It would be hard not to start him for this match. Maybe:

    ------------------RVN----------------------

    ------------------Forlan---------------------

    ------Giggs----------------------Ronaldo------

    -----------Keane------P.Neville---------------

    Fortune-----Silvestre-----Ferdinand----G.Neville--

    -------------------Howard------------------

Diego has been playing great, but if we go with a 4-5-1, Kleberson will start, but if we go with a 4-4-2 it would be Diego. Maybe we will see something similar to the lineup and formation used at Liverpool.

The formation I put there is a 4-4-2 just with Forlan as a more withdrwan striker....i predict at least one for Forlan tomorrow.....err, actually he's gonna suck and get subbed out before the end of the first half ;)

Skysports is reporting that Veron will be out due to a back problem. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

    re- united v chelsea

hi just a few words about united v chelsea on sunday, i'm a united season ticket holder in cheshire, england, i have a season ticket at old trafford, go every home game, i'm going to chelsea on sunday, bloody £49 for ticket, money grabbing cockney gits, lol. anyway latest news here is that keano could be back after missing euro game on wednesday, likely team being :

    howard. neville (g), o'shea, ferdinand,
    silvestre, keano, neville(p), giggs, fortune,
    forlan, van the man.

anyway whatever team the wizard (fergie) puts out, will be too strong for the chelsea mercenaries.
anyway anyone wishing to chat about united, by all meansd reply.

the 2:00 EST game on FSW says teams 'to be announced'. the game is taped. i'm guessing it'll be ManUnited vs. Chelsea tape delay, but i'm not sure... there's 2 other good games on sunday.

First of all we're not "cockneys" ya git ;)

How is it that we have mercenaries...yet yer lot are...well what are they then fella?

Third...whatever team you put out will/may compete with us.It wont be "too strong".

    btw...i'm originally from Berks.
Never had a season ticket to chels, but, was a regular during the mid 70's to late 80's before moving over here.

Think you'll play with only the one up front.?
Our defense is quite good and i think that fact coupled with Makelele in the middle to limit your thru ball could result in a poor day for you lot.
personally i predict an unspectacular 1-0 win for us.
0-0 a good bet as well.
Games like this are usually so.

Fortune is playing to well to leave him on the bench. He should get a start over Ronaldo or P. Neville.

I don't think that SAF will start CR for a game at Chelsea. He'll have him available to come off the bench.

How about two tim howard assists and a goal kick that goes off John Terry's head into Cudicinis net?

This game will need a goal early to open things up. Otherwise, a 0-0 or 1-0 game is a strong possibility. Much better if one team has to chase. With all the attacking options, could be very nice to watch.

I think Chelsea wins 1-0. Then we pay the favor to them when they go to Old Trafford.

I think Chelsea perhaps have a slightly better overall roster, but that the very best Man Utd players are superior to their Chelsea counterparts. Not really important, I guess, just sort of interesting.

    1-0 Chelsea.

PK given after Keane's tackle on Cole in the box.

Lampard sends Howard the wrong way on the kick.

    HT. 1-0 Chelsea.

An even game until the PK.

No, the Iranian broadcast isn't working. I get the audio but no video. And the Korean site isn't showing the game...

73' Fotune off. Ronaldo on. Giggs moves to the left.

I wonder how effective Giggs was on the right. I know that Fortune has been playing well, but they both play much better on the left, and it seems strange to put one on the right.

United up to 58% of the possession. They had 53% in the first half. Doesn't sound like they're doing a lot with the ball, though.

    78' Hasselbaink on for Mutu.

That's Chelsea's final change - pretty early for that, I think. That could be a huge mistake by Ranieri if a Chelsea player gets injured.
