I thought we’d keep the other thread Free for the IN’s and OUT’s and all the logistics and start another thread so we can chat about our teams performance, etc.

Van Der Saw let me down today . . .

Mon Dieu! Dynamo Daylight are in desperate bloody need of a striker. So I sells Wiltord for Bergy and now neither of ‘em is playing. Merde!

Early days but the team is in trouble. Still, it could be worse, I could be the manager of Eager Street blues :)

    Good idea Monkee

Anybody got any input as to how to handle the new arrivals in the January window?

Last season in very small rocks we allowed the bottom team in the league to have first pick and worked up that way, after the window closed.

i'm back to my full complement of Everton lads now; radzinski, watson and hibbert.

i can feel i'm on the way up now...

considered selling watson what with him being out for 6 weeks or so, but i figured he'd be snapped up straight away by one of you vultures...i kept the faith, hopefully it'll be rewarded.

I'm still propping up the rest of the table, but I'm hoping to move steadily upward. My play to get Hernan Crespo has been an enormous bust. I gave up Malbranque and Saha to get him [double ouch]. My only hope is for Ranieri to make Crespo a fixture of the starting XI and that he just starts banging them in.

i think Crespo will do the business for ya...even if he doesn't play every week, i think when he does he'll score enough points to make him worthwhile...

i think nextweek i'll be on the prowl for another midfielder

All I bloody need is a striker or two. Bloody Frenchman getting sent off started getting me minus points. Bergkamp and Mutu need to be getting me some more blooming goals as well. Hopefully, Andy "side-netting" Cole can do it for me, by returning to his Newcastle days goal scoring record. Oh, how I wish I had Henry, RVN or Shearer, makes all the bloody difference. what are the chances of all them breaking legs? :)

    closer than they appear

Although, Shoe Suede Blues are not top of the heap the management is happy with the decisions to add Kanoute and Forlan the week before they score. 81 points must be some sort of record for a week. I really didn't expect that all 3 strikers would score in the same week. It makes the 8 points I had to sacrifice to get three transfers in really worth it. Hopefully we can get some points consistently now.

    Sound the alarm!

    I'm out of last place.

It was about time I got some production out of my strikers. Also, the return of Paul Scholes has provided a nice shot in the arm for my anemic attack.

Coming up on the half way stage soon.

Anyone got any ideas as to what we will do for the new players coming in in January.

Do we want to go with a lottery, a first come first served policy, or an American style draft wher the last place team gets first pick at the end of the window and so on up the table.

    Opinions?

I think we should do a draft in reverse.

I think it should just be one round though. After everyone has had one shot, it should be open season.

I suspect some folks will pass on the opportunity anyway.

    .....

In other news, Eager Street Blues are rounding into form going into the new year.

    Bottomfeeders beware!

    C'mon lads

Need your views on the January Window?

    ----

Weather played a major factor in this weeks scores.
Half my team didn't even kick a ball.

I reckon the top scoring player in every side should be thrown back into the pot (so to speak).
for Example: Clan releases Shearer, Scouse releases Henry, Paulo releases RVN, etc and then the team currently at the bottom has the first pick and so on. . .

Nah, you're not going to go for it are you?
I'm stuck with crappy strikers for the rest of the season. Ho-Hum.

when does the window open? close?

We set a day and the bottom club has first dibs?

I was just coming to terms with losing Rio for his 8 month ban and the Duff-er gets crocked. . . I have no goal scoring strikers  Oh, I'd love it...I'd really love it (Keegan style melt down) . . .

    boo-hoo

    Re: C'mon lads

The dynamo daylight management team have concluded that they won’t win the title THIS year. However, they still believe that there is a lot to play for and would like to sign a top class striker in the window, should one be available. Furthermore, there has been a lot of rumour regarding Ronaldo and at this point the DD board shall neither confirm nor deny any of these reports.

When does the winda open and what is the procedure?

When are we going to start the draft.... I reckon it should be first come first serve.
