I'd prefer to gut them like a fish, but 1-0 will be fine, too.

No Morata, which is really interesting.

I wonder how Poch is approaching this....On the one hand, they need a trophy, on the other hand, this is not that big of a deal.

I'd be happy with a tight draw today. Even a one goal loss to keep the second leg in play.

I think this means more to Sp*rs than it does us. Pochettino needs silverware at some point and this one is within reach even if City present a likely barrier in the final.

All eyes on CHO for this one!

Says a lot that he's not on the bench despite scoring a brace against Forest.

Apparently picked up an injury in training, but that sounds like a load of crap to me.

    Why do they hate Alonso?

Could only watch the last bit of the first half and we looked the stronger side. Not sure if Kante should have made more of his two chances.

It was marginal but I'd rather they erred on the side of the attacker which was the case here.

Need more in the final 3rd. Again.

Lost, but very much still in the tie and the performance was much improved from our last trip there which is encouraging. Really, really need a reliable striker and the sooner the better. Tough to properly rate CHO today with no striker to feed but some decent moments. Keep giving him chances please.

what KB said plus the good news we had players making little runs into and through the box a bit more, the bad, no one would pass to them....

In the small sample I saw, he looked aggressive and confident on the pitch. I’d love to see more.

Yeah, that's a great point. We often see from youth players a level of shyness and overplaying the pass first, attack second philosophy to prove they belong in a team. That he was willing to run and shoot is a positive sign.

we completely dominated the second half, and even parts of the first. the squad is just screaming out for a proper striker. honestly, that's all we need immediately. i'd like better depth to rotate at fullback obviously, but the GLARING miss is a striker. Sarri-ball can work, a lot of the times it is, but it needs a goalscorer.

Honest to God wish we still had Costa. He was ********ing brilliant. Although his Atletico numbers aren't exactly great now.

He didn't want to be here.. at all. Of course we all want someone who scores. We'd probably have a small title push happening with someone like him leading the line.

and the answer is both managers thought he was offside.

And Pochettino also isn't happy with the technology despite it ruling in his side's favour tonight

The Spurs boss told Sky Sports: "I don't like the VAR. Today we get the benefit of it but after watching the World Cup and another league like La Liga I see that nobody is happy from day one that they started to use it.

"To get the benefit is nice but I am unhappy to win the game like this. I prefer the technology but in a different way. Being clear. I am pro technoolgy because you cannot stop evolution but we are waiting so long, it is not clear what are the rules.

We are still bitter that he scored 2 goals to beat us last season. I also have cousins who support Chelsea and they told me the Chelsea away support shout "Shooooooooot" every time he touches the ball.
