With top 4 locked up I’m surprised we don’t see Sarr or a few youth players mixed in. These last 2 games would be a great experience for Sarr going into next year with Rudy and AC gone and possibly letting Azpi go as well. Tho, I suspect they convince him to stay for the team one more year.

At least Trevoh is playing. He better finish the year out. He’s going to be a huge piece of next years team.

Thing about Tuchel is that he has only got us to 4 finals in his time as manager. We did only win ONE of those finals. . . . But yeah we need to keep the Toosh as coach.

Ziyech looking sharpest. Pulisic not bad. Big Rom? MIA

At least Rom is actually pressing and running. It’s a marked improvement.

To sum up - Lots and lots ad lots and lots of possession, 19 shots at goal to their 2 (TWO) and it finishes 1-1.
In other words same ole same ole.

Last game of the season on Sunday v Watford - I predict we have 94% possession, 58 shots to their 1 and it will finish 1-1.

I mean that’s the best we could have hoped for after the jackassary of the season. Injuries, Roman, contracts expiring, etc.

3rd place isn't too bad for a team without a striker.

Yep, agreed with the two above sentiments. I think even with a healthy James and Chilwell, dethroning City and Pool would have been a challenge. We basically played 3 fewer matches than a team can maximum play in a given season.

We've had terrible injury problems this season for sure, we're limping over the line both figuratively and literally.

Personally glad we finished 3rd especially after the last 2 seasons. However, the sting is still there from the FA cup loss. Kills me that we don't seem to have the killer instinct to win finals in 90 or 120m.

Regardless, clean up the off field distractions and begin the rebuilding process.
