I think that penalty was willian's 9th league goal of the year. One more in the final stretch and it would be his first season with 10 league goals in his career.

Anyway, time for some rlc/billy/tammy action please. Maybe a dash of cho.

perhaps it is more exciting this year cause 2-0 up, utterly dominating and I can't relax till we get a 3rd or 4th goal

worry for kante holding back of his leg.

also pulisic is kind of our best player and it's not too close.

I shudder if we get kai.

kepa had to make yet another save to keep our edge. we go back and score the third. unsung after not having had to do much today.

Was not challenged much but made 2-3 really tight crisp saves to keep our team from going bad mental, as you say, and a lot easier to increase save % when your 4 don't leave you point blank 1 on 1, 3 on 1 etc.

Thought Zouma was a good addition and AZ on left just adds a lot of confidence, James coming back to form, AC still had a couple "oh-shit-No's" though

Funny a goalkeeper mostly gets, "well he just did his job" or "he effed-up", no wonder ya have to be mental to want the job

Watford (unsurprisingly) had the exact same tactics as West Ham, thankfully a much better performance from us, Mount was good, William had a great game and Pulisic had another great game, Barkley was everywhere and was man of the match. Also in patches RLC looked a bit more like his old self too, all in all a much better day at the office! Oh and still too shaky at the back (obviously).

Maybe Barkley should play drunk. Anything to keep him from thinking too much. Good instincts, but as soon as he start to gain confidence, he tries to dribble through the side.

Pulisic is bringing the kind of spark and excitement that I worried we’d lost for good when Hazzard left. Every time he touches the ball, you can feel that tension like something special could happen.

Didn’t see much from the ‘generational talent’ Havertz today, tho people around the broadcast spent most of the game saying how good he is. Bailey was more lively in this match. He wasn’t bad, just seemed to get smothered by BM playing a false 9 in the first half. I can see why he wants to move, if this game was any indication. Leverkusen were really at each other’s throats. Made the team culture seem sketch.

Taking PKs has padded his numbers but still impressive

Given some of the penalty takers we've had, I see that as an added degree of difficulty :D

Le Tiss didn't score 'ordinary' goals, the man only seemed to score 'worldies'!
