Think we can keep them down to 9?

How long does Sarri last? One more, two more games?

    False

Worked for 12 games in the beginning of the season. If a coach can't adapt to the opposition with the only tactic he knows then what are you coaching to?

Before it was a forward, now we need another 9 new players?

If he does get fired I really hope we don’t go back to counter attacking soccer. I want attacking beautiful soccer and some serious investment in our squad. Or at least the admission that the club is not longer interested in winning the league/champions league. That we’re looking to go to a Dortmund style club.

I think we have the players to be an attacking team in the right system. And we can stay with the 443 but Jorj has to be moved

It work? Yes we won... but it was clear that it wasn’t working. These issues were all there. The wins papered over some of it. The want for a 9 was the hope that it would be enough to see us through to the summer. But it was clear that Alonso’s speed was an issue, Willians inconsistency was an issue, Pedro is more squad depth at this point, Dave isn’t a great fit, the midfield was lacking magic, Kante’s fit has been a massive topic, the obvious need for a 9, as well as another goal scorer, Luiz is hit or miss. The team moved too slow at times and yes we don’t know how to press as a unit at the very least not consistently. These were known issues that winning covered up for. This team needs serious investment.

An extra player on the field would serious help us here today. Jokes aside. Kante has improved on the ball a lot and would be good to see him use that back at the 6 now. But we need to get some magic in the middle. Barkley, Kovacic and RLC aren’t that. Really wish we had made a move for Isco.

I looked up the definition of lunacy in the dictionary and it said doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result and underneath was a picture of Sarri

Record premiere defeat in progress . To be fair the players are putting in some effort this time. Sarri can't blame the effort this time . We are just not good enough.

Where do we go from here?

I still have faith in Sarri till he gets his players for what it is worth.

Zola til season end if he can compellingly tell the board here is how and why things went wrong and here is what my differing approaches would be.

Eddie Howe or Julian Nagelsmann in the summer.
