Wild, 1 point separating 3rd to 9th, 3 pts betwixt 3rd to 11th, this season can go so many ways for so many teams at this point, lets make it our day and way. Great opportunity to separate from the crowd and have a fun break. I feel it, NJ going to go old school Drogs on their Arse'
James on the bench. Other than that the team is as expected. Fernandez, Nkunku and Mr.Felix on the bench. Palmer starts - hopefully he is 100%
Who will get sent off first? Game is being fought. Arsenal are being Arsenal. I had forgotten how much I hate Arsenal.
well that was utter shit defending, 3 arses free in front of goal not a Chelsea player in site Now is the time for Nkunku, Felix, James shift change, if we wait 25 minutes and bring in mud and Enzo jr, I will start one of those threads...
Arsenal are quite a dirty team. An argumentative team. Chelsea - we are a young team. It is a fair result. We need to utilise all our players more. Pedro Neto had a lovely goal. Our attacking players other than Palmer need to do just a little more. Neto did that today - he also did some good defensive work. I would have brought on Nkunku earlier in the game.
We might get something with Mr.Felix on the pitch. Mudryck? we know we are not going to get anything.
I guess it was a fair result. We had less chances at the end, but overall, much improved from last season.
I’ve wondered this as well. Palmer is capable of playing wide. They can operate in the front 3 interchanging with Neto as well.
A 'fair' result I guess, when it comes to the 'top 6' we can't seem to get over the line however we are getting closer, 3rd (though only on goal difference) isn't a bad return at this stage of the season, not when you consider where we have come from over the last couple of seasons. We are a 'bit' unlucky in so much as facing our opponents when they are on the 'up', I think we played Newcastle, United, Liverpool and Arsenal at a time when they were all expecting a result (United new guy bounce, Arsenal with Odegaard back, Newcastle finding form etc) and we've only lost once, I think we have some easier (on paper anyway) games coming up.........though of course there are NO 'easy' games in the Premier League and as soon as you think there are you're destined for a mighty fall (cough Spurs v Ipswich cough).
Fine with the draw at this point. Arteta is mental if he really wants to argue they dominated. Top four is very plausible, but we’re fortunate Newcastle, Man U, Spurs, and Villa are stumbling a bit.
