A clever corner, somebody should be there to tap it in.

Tammy should have had his hat trick after excellent work from CHO

Every time I see Luton have a shot I expect them to score with Kepa in goal

Pen for Werner, great pass from Kova.

    Werner to take it.

    Saved, he can't buy a goal. :(

A German missing a penalty, you don't see many of those

Penalty should have been retaken as the keeper moved way off his line. But still. timo is now officially the charity case of the team. He is a good player. But his confidence must be in the gutter.

Given the way recent penalties have been reviewed by DRS I would agree, but it was a good save in the old days

    3 goals
    A win
Not a clean sheet [see Kepa].
    A good Cup game.

    Yeah, the keeper did well.

Who is going to be our penalty taker now?

What about Mount if he really wants to follow in Frank's footsteps

Well we're through, though you can see the usual problems are still there, enough to beat Luton but you can see why better teams are always beating us. As usual we need 75% possession and 50 shots to get a goal yet only a couple of shots against us to let in 3 goals :-D

Wee Billy G looked good, CHO made a big difference, Abraham my MOM.

Poor Werner looks low on confidence and needs a goal (though I don't think he played badly), I hope Pulisic hasn't torn his hamstring again.

It looks like our homegrown players are still our best and most dependable players. They show up fighting when the going gets tough, while the expensive imports go MIA.

He didn't. He does a lot of running and work for the players around him. I like him as a player. He just needs to get on that scoring streak. He won the penalty. He should have scored it.

Watching some highlights as didn't watch this one live.

Other than a good day for tammy still looks like big issues with the team. On their goal the amount of space afforded a team of that level is shocking. And the shot, whilst relatively open was poor, any keeper worth their salt needs to be saving that. The lad badly needs a change of scenery. Can't we find him a loan anywhere?

    Barnsley away next.

Great effort from Timo overall today. Played well. I wasn't confident in that pen as he looked absolutely exhausted when he was on the ground. Lacked the confidence to just bury it to the left side
