    random thoughts on Arse trolls

Hmmm. What was it that rickbreese said about trolling again? :p

I love the fact that even our trolls are better. Though all this is surely to be expected, I would have preferred it not to have happened (the very sudden influx of antsy Gooners wildly posting like scared chickens ;) ). The annoyance factor is elevated by the glory-hunting American Gooners, which frankly make me a bit ashamed.

It's funny, I've had massive guys with at least a foot on me, at least a hundred pounds on me, get right up in my face, screaming at me that "Chelsea SUCKS! You need to ******** off."

Class. That's all I've got to say. And it's born out even on internet message boards.

Good thing I wasn't there. I would of hit him in the head like Kezman does posts when he shoots.

Ha! You better remember to share that one with your mate. You know, he signed on as the Vice Prez of the Kezman fan club. He won't be too pleased. ;)

In the end, karma prevailed, as the same Gooner arse showed up during the CL match. Bridgey scored, our Chels section went absolutely crazy, and with a bit of liquid courage, I ran up to him and said "Now I'm thinking it's you who should fvck off." He was eerily silent, and has not messed with me since. :D

Been a Chelsea fan for 10 years, and that's PRE-Roman if you're unsure of your Chelsea history.

And I've been lurking here for quite a while, and just recently decided to register and such. I'm beginning to reconsider this decision in light of recent threads from you lot.

Same can be said about Arsenal fans.

What did you read "Fever Pitch" and you were immediately hooked?? Or let me guess, you played Fifa 98 with Bergkamp on the cover and that did it for you...(though he was amazing in that game...)

It's such an unoriginal arguement especially coming from an American because in essence, we're all glory-hunters. It just depends on when we jumped. We have no natural EPL team to support obviously so we "pick" a team instead of getting raised to support a team (unless you have ex-pat parents or a soccer crazed American one, which is hardly ever the case).

I supported Chelsea because my parents lived in England before I was born and my Dad made a friend there. Their son came here for college and lived with us here in Philly. We were the same age and he was a Chelsea fan. He turned me "on" to them. That was 9 years ago. I am a "glory-hunter". I never suffered like Chelsea fans like ClanBlue.

My point is that probably most every American who supports one of the "Big 4" (Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool) has a similar story. We're all glory hunters really.

so if a 50 yr old Arsenal fan whose been supporting Arsenal for 40 years signs up today it means he just began supporting Arsenal

you seem to think the day you join Bigsoccer is the day you choose your club to support

i like the "dont bother, give us all the trophies now" attitude of Chelsea fans at the moment... funny come the end of the season and the only trophy they got is the Carling Cup which they used their first XI to win against Acrington Stanley reserves

I don't know one person that is saying that. Any Chelsea fan knows that we always blow it. Right now we are on a good run. We're 5 points up and no matter what happens next weekend, deal with the fact the we will still be top of the table come Dec 13. We were at the top of the table at the same time last year. Then on Boxing Day we got demolished by Charlton away and never recovered.

I think all you Arsenal fans have a serious case of sour grapes. All anyone heard when you had your streak was how great you were, how unstoppable you were, and how the title was yours to lose. So don't come here and criticise other team's fans for being a little excited about how their team is playing. One month into the season you were all spewing about how great your goal differential was and how boring Chelsea was winning 1-0. Now all of a sudden we're clicking and playing like Arsenal used to except for the fact that we play defense. And that goal differential +3 in our favor.

Your team is ******** right now. They'll come out of it, maybe even this Sunday and the race will be back on. You guys just can't let another team's fans enjoy the fact that they are 5 points up.

And since when is it wrong to win every competition you're in?? It's better than taking the Arsenal approach and concentrating on FA Cup and league only. You don't play anyone in the Carling Cup and your team disappears in the CL.

So by your reasoning, if we were playing Acrington Stanley, we should have played all of our 16-17-18 year olds. Then if we got upset, all you Chelsea haters would have come here trolling and saying, "Ha ha, look at Mourinho, he thinks he is so great. He played his youth team and now they are out. Ha ha. Chelsea sucks." But no, Mourinho plays most of his starters and we hear, "Ha ha, look at Chelsea playing hard for the Carling Cup. Ha ha, you suck." It's a win-win situation for you guys. You have something to comment on either way. I personally like the fact that I actually have an interest in watching Chelsea's Carling Cup games this year. The Fulham game was enjoyable to watch. Better than that garbage game you played with Man U.

Someone changed the pic (maybe a mod). The one I posted said "Get off your high horse" and had a pic of Christopher Reeve.

I agree the one that it was changed to was gross.

So you can see I'm not full of S, here's a link to the Reeve pic:

Ok well if that is the case then my apologies for jumping on you, but whoever changed that pic has serious problems and needs serious help.
