Jorginho is an experienced player, great to see him hitting forward passes, something you didn't too much of under Sarri.

I am Wrath:eek: like today pull Willian for CHO or Pul, we don't need his tracking so much today and he is slowing the attack when not wildly taking shots; prefer Mount on corners as well til CHO or James plays

The needing of one of our three main attackers to be a dedicated runner back also puzzles me. Against Liverpool, sure but in general.. no man.. you’re there to attack and move play forward

Saw only the last 15 mins of the first half. Jorginho looking good.

Put himself about a bit. Very english style performance from the positioning to the aggressive forward play. More please. The continental tippy tappy stuff just not effective for him.

Against more attacking sides than today, with AZ and Alonso being vulnerable to speed I do see a need, especially without Kante, but the issue is Willian getting there on attack, just not getting it done enough

That mazy run is Barkley in a nutshell, good at first then fizzles.

Barkley is like a first round draft pick in American sports. Everyone remembers the talent and you see flashes, so he becomes a player everyone convinces themselves they can turn into a top performer.
That’s how Kwame Brown ends up with a 12 year NBA career :ninja::sneaky:

Acres of space between the back line and midfielders. Seriously need to address this issue.

I would like to see our 70 million pound signing play today.

Glad to see CHO get on though. Really hope we get a clean sheet with another goal to boot

Also, the Jorginho penalty skip is always fun to watch.

CHO with a great run and build up but that final ball was a little too much.

I had to live through two years of Kwame Brown on the Pistons. Went from Sheed and Big Ben to that.

Nice glimpse of the future there. Lovely flowing move. Just a touch heavy from CHO on the final ball but quite excited to see how this squad will all come together over the next year or two.

In the meantime we are desperately trying to give them an equalizer. A clean sheet, a clean sheet, my kingdom (current net worth about a tenner) for a clean sheet.
