Honestly. What did the Newcastle board think Kevin Keegan would achieve? Did they seriously think he would take Newcastle to where they were in '96? Did they seriously think that Newcastle would get above teams like Blackburn, Everton, Tottenham and claim a European spot? The naivety, from supporters and management alike is alarming.

The way they're playing, Toon could definitely be involved in a relegation scrap. They just loaned out one of the many shite defenders Allardyce bought, Rozenhal, to Lazio.

While we're all captivated with the transfer deadline, Messi is putting on a show against Villareal in the Copa del Rey

kinda weird news, but roberto mancini's 17 year-old son is now on loan at man city. I guess roberto mancini wants him to learn under sven like papa did as well.

The Spurs fans would be delighted. Having a new owner who will honor the Clubs tradition of changing Managers every 2 years. :)

You should see how these threads just blow up after a negative Liverpool result. I bet if they lost a match today we'd end up having to lock this one adn start a new one.

Its funny. No win since boxing day? LMAO

Well this one might be closed Saturday. :) Normally, I would not give Sunderland much chance at Anfield, but he way the Scousers are playing, who knows. And I really like Roy's new signing.
Prica looked quality last week. The kind of player with the ability to make something out of nothing. I think he put the lad on for the last 20 or 25 minutes and he scored a wonderful goal and came close to a hat trick, with one pulled back out of the net and another where the keeper made a great reaction save.

I hope the lad gets the start tomorrow. I'll watch the match just to see how he does.

Čorluka with an assist, Fernandes for 1:2. Eduardo scored beautiful second Arsenal's goal.

Vassell is a dumb player. Shet, most of Manchester City's players are pretty dumb. Some of the worst positioning I've seen.

The offside call was also shiet. Petrov should've gone through.

    works both ways

how many times has ronaldo dived to win pens/free kicks this year?

sometimes u get calls, sometimes they go against u

    arsenal controlled the game

i expect utd to do the same vs the yids, unless ramos has created some sort of master defence overnight!

Defoe equalized for Portsmouth against Chelsea, so they'll stay 4 points back of us.

Evans, Bardsley, Miller, and Richardson all starting for Sunderland.

    Particularly interested in Evans, obviously.

Particularly Evans and Bardsley have played well so far, Torres hasn't been able to do much at all.
