So indoor was popular in the '80s? Wonder what happened.

The late 80's happened... then they've just kept digging themselves even deeper since

Owners who checked their business sense at the door. You can keep pouring money in without looking at the income side of the ledger. Blame Paxos amd Ryan all you want but neither was involved with MISL I. The owners kept paying players more than they were getting in income from sponsors and gate receipts and you can't keep going that.

By the time the owners figured that out, it was too late for MISL I. The Paxos league(s) was never properly marketed and was unfinanced and never stood a chance.

We live with that decision so you have what we have today with Ryan, the clown, running under direction from a group of owners who believe in a business plan that keep losses to a minimum. Sadly their plan for growth is doomed.

You have owners like Rachels who think that things will turn around soon if they keep pounding away. They listen to Eddie Hale but Hale is different. He owns a bank so he twist arms to sell tix and sponsorships in a way that others don't have the leverage to do.
