I'm hoping for some help from someone in the Chattanooga area! My great Aunt's 97th birthday party is on Saturday around noon just outside of Chattanooga. I'm not sure if I will try and stay somewhere around there and watch the game or just turn my phone off and watch it on Tivo a little delayed.

I know there is a mellow mushroom that if I remember correctly has some TV's behind the bar. Is there anywhere else that someone could recommend watching the game on Saturday?

There are a lot of bars downtown. I am assuming that is where you are going to be since that is where MM is. We watch a LOT of college football across the street at Big River. It is more of a sports bar with microbrew beer brewed on site. Try the sweet magnolia. I have never watched a soccer game there, but it is the best set up to do it downtown. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. We will actually be at some place over by Hamilton Place mall for the birthday dinner but I figured the area around mellow mushroom would be a better bet for finding a place to watch the game possibly even with some other fans.

Looks like everybody is leaning towards coming back to the Atlanta area and watching it on Tivo. Thought I might be able to get my brothers to go with me but one has to work and the other has a 3 year old.

if you stay over that way and decide to stay, try out fox and hound...there is a big river on that side too.

thanks again. I guess the brother without a 3 year old son is going after all so the plan now is for me and him to go over to the fox and hound after the lunch is over. Hopefully there will be some fellow US fans at the bar!

Arrgghh!!! The lunch could have started just 30 minutes earlier or the game 30 minutes later and I think we could have slipped out and made it to the brewhouse in time for national anthem and not looked like asses!
