Sue actually played soccer in high school and had to choose between playing college bball or soccer.

Yup, she was a rookie this past season. Number 1 draft pick out of Uconn. Plays for the Seattle Storm. Best guard I've ever seen in the women's game.

By the way, do you women's basketball fans know that your NCAA and WNBA players actually play with a smaller ball?

sure do. their shotclocks are also different, and in the NBA they play quarters and WNBA plays halves.

shame on them WNBA players they changed the rules just to fit thier needs to their own convenience. The shot clock, for example, is 30 seconds in college and the WNBA. The lane is 12 feet by 19 feet. The three-point line is 19 feet, 9 inches.

What really bothers me is that they still have to strike. But i don't really care if they do since i have never watch them play..The men's basketball is more fun to me (no offence to the ladies)

what these players need to do is standarize their game rules like the men's until they do so i believe the game will grow.
To really play in the high level not the college level.

Example, Women's soccer didn't change the rules they play the game like the rest of the world. They didn't change the rules just to fit thier needs..Women's Soccer really GOT GAME!!!

ok this is kinda gettin off-topic so if you wanna discuss this more, PM me or post something in the "Other Sports" forum. But I will say this, the womens parameters are different than the mens because it is a completely different game. In soccer its different because every shot is 1 goal, no matter if you shoot it from 50 yards out or 5 yards out. And in womens bball more passing than just driving to the hoop is featured, thus the 30 second shot clock. Like I said, the womens game is completely different than the mens game. Thats just the way it is.

Yes, you are right about that. it doesn't really matters. I just realize that you don't use Sue bird picture :0 thanks. Instead you showing the Mia's t-shirt. I'm glad that you realize who are the real athlete is. (the one who can run for 90 min. not 5 min and sits)

Oh well. I just can't help myself.:)

By the way, the game played in the NBA is also quite different from the standard international game. I don't really keep up with basketball that much, but I know that at one time there were differences in fundamental things like game length, clock stoppages, timeouts, three-point line, etc. Some of those items might now be in sync, but I'm sure there are still significant differences.
