The lads head to South London to The Valley to take on the perennial minders of midtable. The Gunners shouldn't come in took cocky or is it cockney...lol. I think The Arsenal will find a way to win with a late match winner.

My prediction, 2-1 to The Glorious, chest-pain causing Arsenal!

3-0 to the Arsenal. I think now that everyone's relieved that we've played Chelscum for the last time this season (hopefully) we can all settle down for a game of football.

Goals from Thierry, Robin (If he's not injured) and Thierry. :)

Dear Lord - 7:30 a.m. live on FSC on the Monday after Christmas.
I'm gonna get up, watch the match, then go the hell back to bed.

    2-1, Arsenal.

    3-1.

Charlton have started their regular slide a touch early, but I still like Bent for a goal against our backline at the moment. Murphy/Smertin/Kishishev will be an interesting matchup for Cesc/Gilberto.

    Is Jose back?

    My boxing day.

Get up stupidly early to make it over to Charlton for 11am.
Have a drink, watch the game.
Get to Heathrow airport for 6.10pm
    Fly to Edinburgh
    Relax at about 9pm........

    Arsenal - 1-0

That's right...Boxing Day for our Canadian Gooners as well.

Pires gets off the schneid in this one and an Henry FK gives the Gunners an otherwise nervy 2-0 win and Jens is forced to make some very good saves to keep his clean sheet.

Thierry's alright. He just picked up a minor knock during the Chelsea match.

Better than my boxing day, though it starts off similar:

Get up stupidly early to watch the match on FSC at 6:30 am.
Listen to the father-in-law ask stupid-ass questions about footie for 2 hours.

Damn, I don't go near a store until sometime in mid-January.

Anyway, 2-1 to the Arsenal. They will pull out a win, but there are still some uncertainties in the midfield right now and you can't discount any team in the Prem.

Is it on FSC now instead the Mancfest currently scheduled?
    Or is it PPV?

I remember seeing 'Boxing Day' on some US calendars when I was little, and thinking - "Is it a massive boxing match? Who's fighting each other?"

i think you are referencing the "all manyoo, all the time" xmas day lineup...
4 games on boxing day me thinks, though.

charlton.. hmm... they have been pants of late, but so have we.. so they very standard 1-1 or maybe a 2-1 arsenal win..
    is reyes back yet?

Apparently Reyes will be back, TH and RvP are very doubtful, and Quincy is unavailable.

van Persie picked up a slight knee injury (at Belle Vue), hopefully he'll be alright for the match. they said it's pretty swollen
Henry has a achilles injury - anyone know the severity of the injury?
Quincy has a knee ligament injury (out four to six weeks)

    3-0 (Bergkamp, Ljunberg, Reyes)

Ljunberg needs to step up. He doesn't seem himself this season. Maybe all the injuries are piling up?

Good question Cat. I wonder if teams are just marking him better? He used to be the forgotten man making late runs in the box? Maybe our lack of steel in the middle lets opponents concentrate more on our flanks?
