Although Charlotte’s season was postponed, it’s time to start thinking about the right coach and the kind of identity this club wants to have.

Honestly, it might be perfect timing, but I would advocate for Frank DeBoer - who was just fired from Atlanta. There’s a lot directions Charlotte can take, and Frank DeBoer did fail pretty hard at Atlanta, but I believe that was attributed to a coach who fits one style of play and players who fit a completely different style of play. In a sense, FdB is the classic, European X’s and O’s kind of coach. He plays very conservative. But he was fantastic when at Ajax. More so, considering his failure, I don’t think he’ll have too many offers on the table. A move to Charlotte wouldn’t be a big move for him, plus he might want to make a revenge statement. I figure if FdB is brought in from the start and allowed to shape Charlotte’s identity into a very Dutch style game, it would be the right fit.

Who else do y’all have in mind?
