Hammarby's third home game of the season, in the sixth round. Örebro is a newcomer, started pretty well in the first four rounds but lost the last game 0-4 to IFK Gothenburg at home. Skies are overcast and there was just a light drizzle. Game starts at 4PM CET. Charlie is expected to be in the starting line-up. Erkan Zengin has a yellow card ban and Mikkel Jensen and David Johansson are out with injury. Rumored starting XI: Paulinho - Davies Andersson - Chanko - Eguren - Laitinen E Johansson - Traoré - Sleyman (c) - Monteiro de Macedo Kingson It will be interesting to see how the co-operation between Laitinen and Davies will turn out. Laitinen likes to edge inwards into the field and is very good at short, exact passing. He's been looking very good as a substitution so far.
how's the game progressing? Any matchtrackers available for this one? Thanks again for your updates and reports.
Davies subbed off in the 78th, score still 0-0. From what I can tell, Hammarby only have 3 shots to Örebro's 9. I can't find many mentions of Davies in the little matchtracker--doesn't necessarily mean a whole lot, but from what I can glean Hammarby have looked a bit listless on the day.
Juliusson scores for Hammarby in at the death (91st min), 1-0. This may take on added significance since I believe Juliusson was the one who replaced Charlie. Edit: And that's how it ends, 1-0 to Hammarby.
What a game! Haven't seen a ref this bad since...ever! Well, Charlie's performance today was not very good. Worse then his last game. As you probably know he didn't score today ether, but I know what he's capable of and I'm still not worried that he wont score. Sooner or later he will. This is probably a game Charlie would like to forget. Allthough Örebro played very good defence Charlie should be able to create more. Too bad he didn't score... Todays player was without doubt Ghanian WC keeper Richard Kingson. Let me just say that there's a reason he's called "magic hands". ;-) Worth to notice: It was CD's replacement, Islandic talent and speedbullet, Heidar Geir Juliusson who scored the goal in minute 92'. Top ten by the happiest moments in my life. ;-) Because the game was so god damn frustrating, the goal felt EXTRA EXTRA good. Forza Bajen!
This must be top 5 most boring game Hammarby ever played at Söderstadion a real sliping pill! Forzza CD Forzza Hammarby
I couldn't find highlights, but I don't really know where to look. A little section on the Hammarby website gives commentary on some of the players. For Charlie they said "Snart kommer det," which I think means "It will come soon." At least they have more patience than the media, judging by the last game.
Really? Was offered more money to be in MLS, several rookies have gotten decent playing time and been great (Richards, Cristman, Harrington). Just sayin. But I am not calling him a failure or anything at Hammarby. Its early times and he has the talent to do really well.
Try this for a short highlight, the most exciting thing to happen seems to have been a Hammarby player knocking out Örebro's keeper: http://www.fotbollskanalen.se/speci...r.aspx?key=0&pid=124827&itemId=&treeId=400599 EDIT2 tired, better go to bed
Top five? It wasn't really La-Liga class on the game, but still a lot of opportunities. Not top five. ;-)
