CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Battery will host an international exhibition match with historic English Premier League club West Bromwich Albion at Blackbaud Stadium on Friday, July 17, the second of three dates on The Baggies’ 2015 preseason tour of the Southeastern United States. http://charlestonbattery.com/news/battery-to-host-epls-west-brom-july-17/ We might as well start a thread for this match. The West Brom supporters coming in, might have some questions.

Firstly apologies for the double post it was from my phone. Yep Pulis has been great, credit to Irvine though for getting the win earlier in the season. I can't wait to see who he signs
FYI, as we approach the match, here's a link to their local newspaper, who's traveling with the team on their US trip. http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/west-bromwich-albion-fc/
was listening. to Sirus yesterday and they mentioned they had like 10 players that were tending to knocks and what not for the preseason. They play Orlando (spit) tonight and I too think the heat and humidity will be a huge factor

I thought the intense heat and humidity comment was a bit much, I thought it was rather comfortable with our sea breeze blowing in last night
I'd say the weather was pretty normal for us but obviously, when the English teams visit, it's a bit of a shock. At the tailgate, I was talking to a couple of WBA fans who lived in Houston, one was English and the other Mexican, and they both said it was pretty brutal here. I said, but you're from Houston, that place is hot as hell too and they agreed but still said it was more humid here than even in Houston.
Having lived in SC after living up here for most of my life only to return back up here, I will concur, there is a major factor with the kinds of humidity. And some do not acclimate well at all... Like me. lol
So, I guess they would not have enjoyed the 2 a days in early August, like we used to have to endure back in the day
The link to the photo gallery from West Brom has been updated with more photos. The first batch I originally posted was the "quickie photos" that went to the West Bromwich newspaper.
