Last game of the season. The Battery have the postseason spot regardless of the results on saturday, but they could get a bye in the first round if results go the right way.

Big weekend for a lot of clubs.

The Battery need to win and not rest on the fact that they have qualified.

Hosting the first round, finishing second, even momentum going into the playoffs is on the line here.

Get a big win Saturday and take it through the playoffs....

Dayton is 20 points in 22 games played, 1 less than the Battery. The Battery have 37 points in 23 games played. To get 2nd place in the table, Charleston has to win and the Rhinos get a draw or a loss. If the Rhinos win the Battery won't get a bye. The only teams that can pass the Battery is the Kickers if the Kickers win and the Battery lose and the Hammerheads if they win and the Battery lose.

Well a win last night would have been nice but just wasn't in the cards.

23 shots but nothing went in. that doesn't include the crosses that were so close to connecting. The PK was well struck just a good save by the Dayton keeper.

When i all is said an done, the Battery finish third in the table and will host Harrisburg City Saturday Aug 25 at 7:30 pm at Blackbaud Stadium
