Charge/SJ PBP... as best as it can be done w/o TV. WUSA.com matchtracker has been spotty, real-time wise, today. Something will give in the next 110 minutes; Charge are unbeaten in league openers, winless at Spartan. May the journey that begins tonight be of as much good fortune as the fates will allow... Lineups in a few, updates every 5 minutes (when possible), goals at once. Paul
Just heard from San Jose stands. The starters are : Moore, Benny, Prozzo, McVeigh, Mitts, Makinen, Hoffman, Fair, Tullock, Arrington, and Pichon. Not sure about positions, just personnel. Scott
No #8? Something like this, then Moore ****************** Benny, Mitts, McVeigh, Tietjen-Prozzo ****************** Makinen, Fair, Hoffmann, Tullock ****************** Pichon, Arrington Why no Smith, then? Paul
There was no attitude; it was an innocent remark. So you have the option of Smith coming off the bench, as well as Scasna. Paul
At least it isn't weather-related.... http://www.weather.com/weather/loca...A&lswa=WeatherLocalUndeclared&whatprefs=&y=11 Paul
It sounds like it's just the game tracker. Got a second call soon after the first, and they were taking the field. Scott
It's the usual stellar job matchtracker is doing; it's been spotty all day, and it still doesn't have the second-half match story for the ESPN2 game today. Paul
With the three-week break between games after tonight, that will be the unofficial start of training camp, for all intents. We really didn't have enough quality time with the weather and the internationals' issues (green card, visa delays) This has taught me that the season is a marathon, not a sprint, and with time will come better cohesion as a team. At least it doesn't seem like a 4-5-1 was presented out there. Paul (should be halftime in the next few minutes...)
Arrington subbed?? Scasna replaced her at the 26th minute. 'Rays lineup: Beene, Sanchez, Chastain, Bryan, French, Barr, Sissi, Clemens, Barnes, Katia, Pretinha. Paul
