The Blaine rosters will be announced Monday. Paul

Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced You channeling Bill Lyon today? And I cannot root for San Diego, which is something of a shame because of Mia, Abby, and Julie Fleeting, but such is life.
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced What!! No Mandy Clemens or Katia?!?! Did the Soccer America women's newsletter mention anything about the rosters for the Spirit and the Courage?
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced Complete 6/27 rosters here: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2515810&postcount=188 Paul
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced They must have done some major courting of Fair, she was sure she was not going when I saw her at EYPSA clinic. But then I she is back in CA, and if if fits in her MLS schedule. On a side note Soccer America reported that Pichon is on her way to the Wildcats
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced Missing - Hope Solo Jenny Benson Dee Arrington Pavlina Scasna Mary McViegh
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced Don't know about Arrington or McV, but Solo and Benny must not have been able to get out of their league commitments in Sweden and Russia for that date. Scasna - who knows? She's still with Sparta Prague, or is she elsewhere? Paul
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced I have a feeling McVeigh has moved on to other things at this point. IIRC, she was only on a developmental contract, and she does have a Dartmouth diploma, which I guess could get you somewhere in life.
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced McVeigh had been a summer intern for a law firm, the year prior to her senior year. Even with the poor economy, I would suspect she could get an entry level position.... On another front... http://www.fff.fr/femininesa/actu/134252.shtml so France is in a dominating position in their Euro group..
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced I changed the title of this thread so any stories you may discover about the Charge-SJ game or PHL-related WUSA festival stuff, feel free to drop it here. Like this article from a week and change ago with Jennifer T-P: http://www.startribune.com/stories/503/4781564.html Paul
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced Yes, but what did you do last year when it was SD-Atlanta, with the local connection of Namazi, as I rooted for the Spirit only to see them get slipped a Red Sox-esque whoopee cushion from the soccer gods (90 seconds +/- away from the title game, and it all falls apart...) Paul
Re: Charge roster for 6/27 San Jose @ HDC announced Uh, I was too giddy celebrating the Freedom's trip to the Finals in the first place. And I was probably rooting for Atlanta because of my distaste for Foudy and not wanting her to win the title in her home stadium and get to gloat about it.
Who's not coming to the festivals, Charge-related Charge alumni confirmed by SoccerAmerica's e-newsletter as not appearing at either festival: Benny, Solo, McVeigh (club commitments); Lihong, Scasna, Hoffmann ("the expense was too high" per SA). No reason was cited by them for Arrington's absence. Smith, Pichon and Makinen will make up half of the non-North American contingent alone, and just 7 total: Sissi, Dominguez, Ifema Dieke and Julie Fleeting. Pichon and Fleeting will be the only ones coming across the pond (the others are here already with W-League and WPSL seasons underway). Paul
Charge/SJ: FSW. 5PM 6/27. Be there. The Charge-SJ game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports World at 5PM Eastern... http://www2.foxsports.com/world/pdf/fsw26.pdf (needs AdobeReader) *does cartwheel* Paul
Whither Lorrie? If USA Today's morning edition is to be believed, Lorrie pulled out of the 6/27 game and was coaxed back onto the roster *yesterday* - by, of all people, Heinrichs (!). Or else they just found out about her participation in the HDC match, i.e. what we've already known for a while... Paul
Re: Whither Lorrie? The officiating crew for the Charge/'Rays exhibition was announced. Get the ready...an all-west coast (and all-Cali assistants) foursome: Ref: Sandra Hunt - Assistants: Romy Kozak and Kelli Lussier. Fourth Guy: Mark Arblaster Paul
Re: Whither Lorrie? An article about the first round of the festival, which is rather sobering...and since LeBlanc is injured, she may not be able to come off the bench next Sunday. Since this will be on FSW, a get-together, perhaps, at 5PM or so? http://www.startribune.com/stories/503/4836463.html Paul
Re: Whither Lorrie? Go ahead if you want, but I will be in Philly of all places next weekend so I won't be around to banter.
