0-0 draw. It sounded like we did a pretty good job in getting opportunities. Trina made a difference in the time that she was in. Webber is getting better as a goalkeeper. Too bad it's with the Power.
As it's Father's Day week, somehow this result is a bit appropriate. Charge and NY play to a scoreless tie, so each get a point, but it's unclear who won the season series. Just 2,369 at Mitchell Athletic Field tonight; Carolina thumped Washington, so unfortunately, the Charge are in sole possession of last place. Stats: Shots: 9-5 PHL Shots on Goal: 5-2, PHL Fouls: 7 each Offsides: 6-3, NY Corners: 9-8, NY Saves: 5-2, NY It would have been better if it were 3 points, but at least it wasn't a loss. Next Game, Saturday, vs. the Aly-less Spirit (but Fleeting comes back and Latham in the house, too, so it will still be a dogfight nonetheless.) Paul
We have to win on Saturday. Build up some momentum for when Kelly comes back. A point is a point but at least it wasn't a loss.
Exagerration on my part but once Kelly comes back, even if for limited participation, things will change.
Suppose I should have known better than to come into this forum. I didn't want to know the result of the Freedom game until I watched it. I thought the rule was do NOT mention the results of OTHER games in a thread, even if it has an R in it. GRRRRRRRRRRRR....
This is a Charge Board. While the Carolina results are important from a standings point of view, no one expects ppl to hide Courage results behind a [R] in here. Here is a sure way to avoid your problem. Just stay off the boards entirely until you've seen the game for yourself. Simple and very effective.
